Some of the many good things about working on the twelfth series of Red Dwarf is that it is totally absorbing, hugely time consuming and utterly exhausting.
One of the frustrations is not being able to talk about it or post pictures of the amazing things we're working with, the incredible sets, the fantastic costumes and wonderful actors.
When you do something that is essentially showing off in rubber, you want people to see what you're up to.
For entirely understandable reasons none of us want to post spoilers, and not only the team directly working on the series, the audiences that fill the seats every Friday night have been brilliant, not posting sneaky snaps on the social medias, not blowing storylines on the twitters.
For those not aware, we have already shot Red Dwarf XI which we finished just before Christmas, we are now well into series XII.
Both these series will go out on Dave in the UK 2016 and 2017.
I don't have any firm news about wider global distribution but I'm confident many PBS stations in the USA will be showing the series, it'll be on in Canada, Australia and new Zealand, the Czech Republic and possibly, don't quote me on this, eventually on Netflix.
As soon as I have more news I'll blab on about it like a recently re-charged mechanoid with a WD40 overflow.
Below is a massive spoiler, yes, it's a picture of the Red Dwarf set. Fnaaaar fnaaaar.
