Is Guardian Glass working on something like this +Sarah Overstreet?

#glass   #smartglass   #smartwindow
Researchers in the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin are one step closer to delivering smart windows with a new level of energy efficiency, engineering materials that allow windows to reveal light without transferring heat and, conversely, to block light while allowing heat transmission, as described in two new research papers...

Now you can see what the car saw in the latest autonomous car accident.

As society slowly evolves towards reliable autonomous vehicles, there exists a bit of an awkward phase where both person-driven and driverless cars will share the road.

It was just a matter of time...
We’ve been hearing a lot about people shooting at drones lately. But imagine if drones could fire back? A recent video (uploaded by YouTube user Hogwith) of a shooting quadcopter drone might suggest that armed drones are no longer just a crazy thought, but a really scary reality...

So wait...  Today's blue moon isn't really a blue moon?

Another reason to not be on Facebook...

TULSA, OK—Saying it felt good to just kick back and decompress after a long day, local woman Kelly Alderman reportedly referred to the four hours she spent scrolling through Facebook before she went to sleep Wednesday as “winding down,” sources confirmed.

Cute little park with some equipment for the smaller kids. Because of its location it pretty much only serves the upper Redwood Estates community. Good thing since there's quite an elevation change to the main parks in Redwood Estates.

Pretty good selection of wines, even if they were the "normal" selection that, I guess, their distributor carries. It would be great if they were to carry lesser known wines from smaller artisanal wineries, like Villa del. Monte.

This is an amazing little store that has a tremendous variety of items, a great deli & butcher, a coffee shop, a sushi chef and a great local wine & beer selection. They have free WiFi and a nice patio to eat your lunch or snack, or you can take it to one of the many wineries in the area and have a picnic there. It's family owned (now with 2 generations working there) and they are quite open to suggestions from their patrons. Mention that you can't find something and within a week, there it is... If enough people buy it then it stays on the shelves. Because of this flexibility, there is a large British food section for the expat community that lives in the mountains.

Great fish entree & desserts, but the sashimi tuna seemed a little old. It had a mild "fishy" taste. I wanted to go there because the Fish Market restaurants back home (CA) have extremely fresh fish.
