It's Friday, and for some of you that means it's payday. Check your wallet and see if you can find a dime or two to help out my friend Devin Pike. He's making a film about the way the Internet has changed Hollywood and the way movies are made.

In his documentary, "Everything Doesn't Suck: How the Web Changed Filmmaking", Devin will share a deep discourse with filmmakers who have seen these changes first hand. His experiences and observations over the last 15 years as a reporter, a film critic, video producer, and editor are the makings of an entertaining conversation. With just a small amount of funding, he can share these stories with a much larger audience!

This film WILL be made, but I want to see it really shine. A little funding for travel expenses and production help will go a long way towards Devin's passion project.

PLEASE CONTRIBUTE! Check out the website for more details.

"When Mercedes bosses came up with the idea of a high performance electrical car, they asked for concepts from external and internal sources. The winning concept came from the F1 boys. Using the amassed knowledge of working on KERS in F1, the boys at Brixworth have created a car which is set to become the new benchmark in terms of energy density. Featuring 12 battery modules and 864 individual cells, the SLS AMG Electric Drive is a purely electric car with a 250km range, 1000Nm of torque and 740hp… that’s just 10hp less than an F1 car."

Well guess what kicks off this weekend? That's right it's Formula 1, and this year...in November...we have a race in the US, no...wait...IN TEXAS!!!

For all my friends who wonder why I'm such a F1 nerd, take a look at this. It's a very, very simple look at a very, very complex racing series.
