I am originally from India. Because of some mess up with the banks in India I had some issues reporting my Indian bank accounts while I filed my regular taxes here in the US. I approached John and found him to be very knowledgeable. During the initial consultation, he gave me an accurate fee amount and he went with that. No surprises or hidden fees later. He handled the matter very smoothly and guided me along the way on what all is needed to be filed. His assistant Lynne is another wonderful person who replies and supports very promptly. John took care of my case talking with the IRS and after few months, my case is now closed without any problem. I am happy with his service and his estimates. I would certainly recommend John to anyone and in particular if you are from India having an overseas account in India, I would certainly suggest you talk to John first and get an initial feel of your situation. Lynne(his assistant’s) work ethics will also impress you. Thank you John and Lynne!.

I would highly recommend John as someone who will help the little guy when he gets run over by the big guy. John has the tenacity to stick with it, long after the little guy's funds are exhausted, knowing he'll get paid when the case sorts itself out. We're in the middle of what is probably the most complex legal proceeding I've ever witnessed, much less participated in, including but not limited to aviation, fraud, misrepresentation and the defendant accidentally killing himself in the middle of the proceedings. John's been quite forthcoming with details and productively interactive when my own knowledge of, or connections in, aviation would help the case. I'm glad I've got John in my corner.

My parents used John for their estate and tax planning. They were so impressed I used him also. When my Mother passed away, we realized how much heartache and trouble John's work and advice had saved us. John is very smart. His work is meticulous and thorough. When my parents were still discussing things between themselves, John was very patient about when they signed the documents. We highly recommend his services.

I would like to testify as to the qualifications and expertise of my company's attorney, who has also become my personal counsel. His approach is direct, honest and committed to his client. With a dedicated work ethic, he tenaciously works in the interest of his client with a take-charge attitude that demonstrates his knowledge, honesty, enthusiasm and caring. He is easily accessible to his clients, demonstrating authentic personal service and dedication to his profession, as well as the best interest of his client. Not only is he a distinguished attorney but also holds a Degree as a Certified Public Accountant, which enables him to cross reference information to better serve his client. I highly recommend John McDuff for legal services.

After looking at several attorneys to handle my case, I selected John. It was the best choice I could have made. He has given me peace of mind and has handled my case with pure professionalism. I would definitely recommend using John to my friends or family if asked.

John McDuff is a lawyer and a CPA. He is brilliant on how to best apply the law to win your case. He is thorough and produces excellent detailed documents. You can depend on John to get what you need done the right way. I was impressed with his ability to get into the mindsets of opposing counsel. John attended a meeting with regulators with us in Austin. The regulator was viciously screaming out of control. John got up and blasted them at the top of his lungs, he is fearless and impossible to intimidate....At that moment I knew we had won a very comfortable position in the case. He has an amazing work ethic that was always reassuring to us that he had our best interest at heart. We have had John represent us in several matters and the results were excellent considering the facts. He will leave no stone un-turned. We are and will remain long term clients of John Mc Duff.

I have worked as a marketing consultant in the legal field for over 7 years. In that role I have worked with hundreds of attorneys and scores of business law lawyers. Therefore, I felt I was making a very informed decision when I selected John to draft the letter of intent, draft and review the contract and perform tax planning. I was not disappointed. From the outset John provided me with clear straight forward advice - expertly guiding me through the process. He made sure I understood all the different options - and patiently explained the consequences of each. I was a novice at selling a business so he offered much more than legal advice, and routinely provided ideas on how to better negoiate with the buyer. I knew John was honest and had a great reputation before I hired him. But I was worried that he could respond to our somewhat aggressive timeline and be accessible given how busy he is and the fact that I was in Arizona and he was in Austin TX. It turned out I had nothing to worry about. John always got back to me that day - either with an email or phone call. His paralegal Lynne was also extremely helpful in getting the documents back to us with plenty of time to spare. Needless to say the deal went went through without a hitch and throughout the process I felt I had a true partner in my corner watching my "back". The other great thing about John is that he is also an experienced tax lawyer. In almost every decision we reached, John discussed the possible tax ramifications with us. If you are looking for a great business lawyer in Texas or beyond - I cannot offer a better recommendation than John McDuff!!!
