I am going to assume that the reader is familiar with the “Ten Commandments” and I will not have to reiterate them in this book. There are sayings in the Bible that goes like these:
In Matthew 5:21-28, Jesus equates committing adultery with having lust in your heart and committing murder with having hatred in your heart. However, this does not mean the sins are equal. What Jesus was trying to get across to the Pharisees is that sin is still sin even if you only want to do the act, without actually carrying it out. The religious leaders of Jesus’ day taught that it was okay to think about anything you wanted to, as long as you did not act on those desires. Jesus is forcing them to realize that God judges a person’s thoughts as well as his actions. Jesus proclaimed that our actions are the result of what is in our hearts (Matthew 12:34).
So, although Jesus said that lust and adultery are both sins, that does not mean they are equal. It is much worse to actually murder a person than it is to simply hate a person, even though they are both sins in God’s sight. There are degrees to sin. Some sins are worse than others. At the same time, in regard to both eternal consequences and salvation, all sins are the same. Every sin will lead to eternal condemnation (Romans 6:23). All sin, no matter how “small,” is against an infinite and eternal God, and is therefore worthy of an infinite and eternal penalty. Further, there is no sin too “big” that God cannot forgive it. Jesus died to pay the penalty for sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus died for all of our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Are all sins equal to God? Yes and no. In severity? No. In penalty? Yes. In forgivability? Yes.
I am going to stay away from the KJV and all those “Thou Shall Nots.” It just does not work for me. Remember this guide was put together to help me.
If you are expecting a Ph.D. or Theological dissertation on this subject; get your money back. This is just going to be real world events relayed from a real world person’s perspective.
I didn’t expect to be in South Carolina again. I have nor will I present anything against South Carolina. I have just had a bad experience there. I lost a family. I guess that money is thicker than blood.
I would not recommend that anyone go through that experience in their life!
Remember, I was not expecting to be homeless in Greenville, SC. I was not expecting to be homeless for close to a year in a new State. I came here thinking that I was going to be offered employment and the rough times were behind me.
Boy, was I wrong.

I found out today that my older brother passed. That will be the second time he has passed from my life. The first time was over money. Plus stupid pride. We didn't talk for about 10 years.
Now that there is a permanent loss. That pride becomes more stupid.
I loss him twice, don't let that happen in your journey. I never got to say goodbye.
Don't let a loss hold you back. Don't let the downs over come you. No matter what downs this life here on earth throws at you. Remember, Life is short and what does matter is what you do here. Plus how you do effect the people along the way.
I am proud that I did know him and what he did here. I am proud. So should you of your journey.
Pick up the torch and keep on keeping on!
