Our concentration is on developing software and hardware into the church book store vertical and charitable giving using Prolific Business Solutions. This is being done as SaaS on Tablets. In addition to developing logos and web sites, Blue Azalea gives small churches the ability of big churches with enhanced social media brand loyalty. Many “Fundraisers” were created using the published books written. These books are generating charitable revenue into a blind trust. Currently one book has 1.7 million copies downloaded. Broad bases of customers are being reached with the publishing arm and the creation of a magazine called “Church Connect”.

I concentrated on developing a dealer channel and direct sales for key clients. The last two years were devoted to KissPOS or Keep It Simple Software. Key customers developed were a 200 store pet food company, The Georgia National Fair, and a 40 store chain of activity parks. KissPOS or Keep It Simple Software is the a division of discountPOS, Inc. My efforts were in direct sales to key multi-store accounts and development of a US dealer network. We targeted the US retail and hospitality verticals and drove the sales and marketing efforts with targeted campaigns with focus on growth. New relationship were built by referrals, key vendor development. KissPOS was built on the foundation of and acquisition of Registware POS software and its 2,500 und users. Customer Service drove the conversions and new business development. An 85% closing rate was maintained while reducing the overall operational cost budget. All planned sales were exceeded for the period by 20%. Key customers included Arden’s Garden and ASP Pools.

GM - Director of Sales & Marketing – Retail Store Solutions

POSperfect, Inc. is the US division of a worldwide ISV in the POS industry owned by Today Software out of New Zealand. Today Software, LTD partnered with MaconPOS and POSSalesLeads.com for direct sales and development of a US dealer network. Our concentration is the US retail, hospitality, and supermarket verticals with a solid foundation of handling multi-national accounts like Foot Locker. I drove the sales and marketing efforts with targeted campaigns with focus on retail operational fit to growth, relationship building with referrals, vendor development, and bottom line oversight. Sell the 90% fit to existing retail business needs and the value of future growth functionality with the same package were the battle cry in a very tough market. The results after two years with an 85% closing rate featuring a 3 in One POS solution through to the General Ledger were 15 national dealers in the network and four key accounts in test store rollouts for over 300 locations. This was all done 12% under operational cost budget and 100% over planned sales for the period. Key customers included State of Georgia, Petro Petroleum Company, Liquor Stores, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Hotels, and the Marriott’s.

Responsible for P&L, sales team development, key account closing (Jelly Belly Candy Company), marketing, project management personnel, installation, training programs, planning and new store rollouts for multi-site retailers and E-commerce installations. Other responsibilities included retail customer service strategies for tier 1 & tier 2 companies.

A senior executive buying position for department stores located in three regions of the US. Results included in 15% increase in profit margin. I had Full responsibility over vendor negotiations, merchandise distribution, pricing, advertising, sales promotions, and created regional reporting structure. Chosen Lead Buyer for product and employee training for three regions in the US.

Acting Store Manager – Macy’s South Division of Macy’s Inc.

As Store Manager of a $25 million dollar a year store, efforts resulted in 20% sales increase. I was responsible for supervising/training and developing groups of sales managers and 220 sales associates. Other responsibilities included P&L, inventory management and customer relations. I spearheaded, as Lead Store Manager, the regional implementation of employee customer service, soft skills, and vendor product training programs.
