Another fabulous capture +John LeFebvre. I do admire the contrasts of the classic Louvre to the modernity of the angular fountains and glass structures. Your photo is so inviting, even if it would take me a week to devote just to the Louvre alone :)
Very true +Ann Maser - we were there just a few hours and saw a part of one floor on one wing.  The place is unimaginably HUGE, very crowded and was very, very warm on the upper floors (and very cool on the lower floors on the way out thankfully!).
You can't see much in one day, as every room makes you stop and stare in awe at the majestic scale of it all.  I just don't remember getting the same sense of awe in any of the London museums, but then it has been a while since I visited any of them so maybe that is another thing to add to my never-ending to-do list ;)
The British Museum is Amazing! I would go there all the time..even when the lines were all the way to Tottenham Court Station!
