A few weeks ago I asked,"Parents, if you could send a short message to your past self a week before your first child was born, what would it be?" Here's mine. (It's a couple months instead of a week, but it's my game and I'll break the rules if I want to.)

There are very few moments in my life I can look back on and say "This is where everything changed." My first kiss, graduating from college, my wedding day, the births of my children, and now seeing this video. I will never be the same. I am a changed man.

I was up late last night trying to get this right. Feel free to let me know if I did!

Funny, I wrote about this yesterday. I think I beat you by a few hours, John: http://gofatherhood.com/2014/03/shouldnt-ban-bossy-language-games/

Just a little story about nightmares, spiders that talk, and a demonic cookie monster chair. You know, normal stuff.

Stevie has been working on this one for awhile. So glad she finally finished it last night. Despite the title, I think she's pretty super. She makes a pretty good case though. Enjoy!

I'm getting a little nervous. Maybe this adorable cartoon cat will help.

Yes, it is a sponsored post, but I still love it. Because I love the Metrodome, and I am sad it is gone. Here is my farewell.

We absolutely love our daycare. My wife and I were so stressed about sending our first child to daycare, but our work schedules made it a necessity. Donna and her staff have not only become our friends, they feel like a part of our family. We get regular updates on how our kids are doing, and I feel like I can communicate any and all concerns I have and they will be immediately addresses. We honestly couldn't have picked a better daycare. We love Precious People.

We've stayed at the Peery a few times when my wife and I were spending a date night down town. They are definetely small rooms, but they are well kept and have personality. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in your room or having guests, I'd suggest the Little America Tower. That said, the staff is super friendly and the location is awesome! Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and venues. The Peery is great for going out on the town and then coming back to your hotel and going to bed (the beds are all super comfy tempurpedics).
