Interesting.
BEFORE President George W. Bush left office, a group of conservatives lobbied the White House to grant pardons to the officials who had planned and authorized the United States torture program. My organization, the American Civil Liberties Union, found the proposal repugnant.

Introduction
I will follow anyone.  I could care less about your political views.  I believe the internet is a great resource to allow for an advance in knowledge by individuals sharing with each other online.  So, if you circle me, I will circle you back.

Purpose:

Political Views:

  • I consider myself an Individualist Anarchist.
  • An "Unterrified Jeffersonian."
  • Corporatism controls our lives, I mean to change this
  • A fan of Mutualism.
  • I am an advocate of voluntary, private socialism and I am against all forms of state socialism (yeah, try to understand that one...)
  • I neither want your state socialism nor your state capitalism
  • I fight for the individual and believe strongly in equality and justice for all (LGBT advocate)
  • I am a proponent of voluntary interactions between all human beings.  My ultimate goal is to have our violent, forceful society changed into a voluntary society.
  • I am pro-choice everything.
  • I prefer not to use labels, and I despise the use of "Left" or "Right." but my political philosophy is probably summed up the best as Left Libertarianism.  However, don't let the "left" label confuse you.
  • I am extremely anti-statist.
  • I am a 21st century abolitionist.
  • I am anti-war to the core.
  • I am a firm believer in natural rights.
  • I believe in spontaneous order.
  • I live my life by the non-aggression principle
  • I am a proponent of the Austrian School of Economics.
  • I am a free-market environmentalist.  I deeply believe in protecting our environment, but I also see the failures in attempting to solve the problem through government regulations.  I approach the issue from a much different perspective than most.
  • I did NOT sign your Constitution.
  • I did NOT sign your Social Contract.
  • I HATE emotions being involved in debates.  It skews the debate.  Please, please, please when having a debate, leave the emotion at the door, and bring only logic as your sword.
  • Anti-State, Anti-War, Anti-Collectivism, Anti-Interventionism, Anti-Imperialism, Anti-Despotism, Anti-Authoritarianism, Anti-Totalitarianism, Anti-Marxism, Anti-Absolutism, Anti-Monarchism, Anti-Nationalism, Anti-Nazism, Anti-Theocratism, Anti-Aspheterism, Anti-Elitism, Anti-Centralism, Anti-Autonomism, Anti-Expansionism, Anti-Oligarchism, Anti-Ethnocraism, Anti-Oligarchism, Anti-Ethnocraism, Anti-Corporatism, Anti-Protectionism, Anti-Keynesianism.
  • In addition, I support Ron Paul.  I take issue with some of his positions, but I admire his integrity and honesty.  Anyone who can survive D.C. for 30+ years and still have the same commitment to the principles in which he or she was elected on, has my respect.  But mainly, I believe his anti-war stance is sincere, and that's what moves me the most.
  • With that, I rarely support politicians, but I don't take the traditional anarchist stance of non-voting.  Yes, I hate their political jobs.  Yes, I would like to see them eradicated. But, we live in this world, and I believe in attempting to to change the system by any means necessary.  I see political activism, including voting in certain circumstances, as self-defense.  So, at the same time, I support certain people such as Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader.  Both of which, I would say, I disagree with about 75% of the time.
  • I am also sympathetic to Occupy Wall Street.  Now if we could just attack the main cause of the problem, we could fix it.
  • Don't assume that my views are overly simplistic.  I can easily explain my reasoning for the views mentioned above--this is just an easy to read breakdown.

Religious Views:

Personality:

  • My personality type is INTJ.

More Information:

Full disclosure:  I used to be a neo-con.  I hate my old self. Happy to have grown up, moved on, and become a newer, more improved, logical person.

If you must know more, I am a very opinionated, stubborn asshole when it comes to politics. I can't admit when I'm wrong, though that never really happens. I am an Eagle Scout. I despise the way the BSA has treated homosexuals. When did being gay make you a pedophile? Also, if you receive public funds, you DO NOT have a right to discriminate. I don't like people controlling the lives of others, either socially or economically (this really pisses me off). I don't enjoy internet debating because there is no "debate." It usually involves two morons YELLING or posting random articles that they find on the web because they can't debate it in their own words. I like to make politically incorrect jokes/posts. Why? Because I'm a smart ass that enjoys getting under people's skin (Please review the first sentence if this was unclear for you). I am adamantly anti-force. Free Will is the only way to achieve peace in the world (as long as that will does not interfere with someone else) . I think that if you believe in the Left-Right Paradigm that is currently occupying this country that that is enough to prove government schools are a complete and utter failure (or people are just stupid). I would say my religious views range from Agnostic to Athiesm to Deism to Taoism (crazy, right?), with Taoism primarily being my philosophy on how to live your life. However, I respect all religions and wish others the best of luck in finding what they are looking for. I enjoy getting drunk. I've never done any "illegal" drugs in my life (yet, somehow I don't give a rat's ass if someone else does).  Finally, I love shooting firearms (leave my guns alone!). That's about it! Feel free to ask me anything else that I failed to mention.

I once made the "What's Hot" feed on Google+ with this post

People Who Inspire Me:

  • Destroy Verizon Wireless.  I can't stand them.  Take it over from the inside, sell the corporation off into multiple small companies, and have them all sign a contract requiring sharing of the existing cell towers.
  • Defeat monopolies.  Most importantly, cable monopolies.  There is ABSOLUTELY no reason that there should only be one cable company per area.  Take it from a person who worked in the industry, competition in the utilities market is very much a possibility.

Attempted to purchase a few gun magazines but then my order was canceled a few hours later. I called for an explanation and was told that "high-capacity" magazines were restricted in Virginia and could not be shipped there (this is HIGHLY incorrect). Tried to explain Virginia law for 10 minutes and finally gave up. I understand the liability aspect and wanting to stay on the right side of the law, but this is a clear misinterpretation that they didn't seem willing to resolve. UPDATE: Apparently this issue has been resolved after they were contacted by the VCDL. I still will not be placing an order, but I believe my original review of 1 star is now unfair so I've changed it to 3. It would have been 5 stars if there wasn't an issue to begin with (like it should have been). Otherwise, easy ordering experience. Customer service did answer the phone promptly. Just seems to be some office issues interpreting laws.

Seeing as how this was my first tattoo, I did a lot of research into tattoo parlors around Richmond. I finally decided to go to Loose Screw. VERY happy that I did. Staff is extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The shop is in a great, clean building on Cary Street with plenty of art on display! Barham Williams was my tattoo artist and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He was both patient and extremely precise. The lines on my tattoo are simply amazing and I don't think I've ever seen such a clean cut tattoo before in my life. In the end, I walked away with a great looking tattoo and will definitely be returning to Loose Screw and Barham for my next one!
