So just realize this is a scheme to subsidize his expensive gigafactory. Nothing more! Batteries for the home are not a great idea like they are for vehicles. The residential home can support a flywheel, which is much more ecologically sustainable than lithium-polymer batteries. Just saying. I'd still like a nice powerwall in my home.

Follow recommendation: So there is this guy in Spain, that runs a science aggregator. He must troll the scientific papers with a bot, or else he is a very busy guy!  10 or so papers a day, but really interesting stuff.

The Fieldsonian is prepping a donation to the VECTOR group at the #DallasMakerSpace . I also found evidence of coin-op profit from a machine I placed on my college campus.  Oh, so long ago...

It has evolved over the last 5 years especially, giving people the opportunity to complain in real time, and developers the opportunity to fix stuff right away instead of watching their user base wither away and never know why, because their own tests always pass.  Nothing like field testing!

Smoother, quieter, cleaner, cheaper TCO, near zero maintenance... After 2.5yrs I don't see me ever buying an all gas car again. Next up, solar panels for a sun powered fuel budget.

GM is making three (that we know of) respins of the Voltec drivetrain for 2016:
*Volt gen II (plugin, 50 mile all electric/46MPG/+400mi range)
*335HP Cadillac CT6 (plugin, 35 mile all electric, MPG?)
*48MPG Chevy Malibu hybrid(no plug, minimal EV range)

So, GM can electrify from "hybrid" to AWD luxury monster.  They can meet rising CARB targets while easing people into electrification.  And a CUV or truck maybe?  Not full BEV by any means but grandpa will get exposed!

On my page.. Krispy Kreme is the above-the-fold poster child for "need it now"!  Yes. I approve. (Dallas yes, Mckinney not yet).

Saw there was only 1 terrible review and had to balance it a bit. We had a great time at the go-karts, this track is SO much better than the other place in town. No comparison! Go for the Karts, but not much else. But there was only a hand full of video games, the miniature golf course is tiny and the indoor bumper were out-of-order. The air hockey table was a redeeming feature while waiting between the 6 minute go-cart races.

Had a great time! Don't expect a full-on museum, but it is about the biggest publicly viewable toy collection I know of. The guided walking tour is about 5 rooms, but does keep your attention; along with the lighting and sound effects. Plus you can pose for pics with Troopers, Vader, Yoda, Carbonite Solo... The staff are geeks and really knew their Star Wars trivia. Recommended!

Spice up your life with Szechuan cooking. Good news - small number of gwailos, large number of Chinese eat here. Which means it isn't salty, sugary, fatty generic excuse for Chinese food that "Americans" seem to desire. The cucumber appetizer: chilled and crisp, the oils are burny and tingly, with a crystalized sugar sprinkle that is sweet and crunchy. Sounds complex? It is but like good music that all fades away during the experiencing of it. Yuuuuuuummmmmmm. Also, if you are lucky, as for the Serrano chicken dish (not on the menu). Apparently the Serrano, when freshly picked and oily, is a good replacement for a Chinese pepper that is hard to get stateside. WONDERFUL but only was able to have it once so far.

Not sure what to expect going in? Well, clear your mind and just enjoy the traditional treatment. ie: Shut up and relax. I had the swedish massage too, which is worth it in my opinion. You are already loose from the heat so it just makes sense and for a loosey goosey butt. The historic experience is NOT a modern, pamper experience - but it is a real trip to see a 100 year bath house and "walk" in peoples naked footsteps, equally naked. Recommended!

Good tacos, but GREAT margaritas! The two owners work there everyday and the food quality shows their commitment. I like the guacamole and an Chicken Alambre for a fast lunch. Did I mention how the margaritas were above average? Better than Mi Cocina, Taco Diner, or last time I checked... Gloria's. But without the high price tag too! Worth a try just for them.
