That sucks your autoprobe doesn't work anymore. Here's a way to not use it. Problem solved.

I've been meaning to design a coffee stirrer device that resembles one of those rotary style toothpick dispensers

Get one while you can

Biggest single day in Printrbot history and that includes any single kickstarter day and the opening day of the store!! And it's only 11:00am PST. Wow.

Black Friday sale has one heck of a head of steam!

A lot of spare parts that were user sourced can be found in rigidtalk.com/wiki under technical specs

Dual Extrusion on Printrbot Metal Plus 3D printer: http://youtu.be/a06N5it1zsM

+Printrbot has a great 3D printer. But it could use some work with the dual extrusion. +Brook Drumm can you provide the cura or slic3r profiles?

Our first dual head units out of the gate gave us pause. We need much more helpful tutorials, etc before mere mortals can hope for good results. We continue to build documentation to better support the challenges of dusk head machines. We currently have a long waiting list for the dual head plus. The longer it gets, the more scared I am to let the genie out of the bottle

Same problem. No response from invent a part.

I have a broken pot on extruder one.  Can anyone see a scenario where I could use the ext 2 plug?  Install firmware and call it a dual ext and just never 'use' the first extruder?  The problem I would see is getting errors if no motor plugged into the first one.. what do you guys think?  Maybe a dip switch to disable the first one is available?  Not at home right now.. just brainstorming at work.

Had a similar issue with a ramps board long ago. Just change the pin assignments in firmware to the second extruder and vice versa. The software won't know the difference.

Great hours, almost never a long wait. Open holidays. I have to remind them to get the hair behind the ear. They always forget. Have to do extra clean up back at home. Don't expect to hit the town right after a hair cut here. You definitely need a shower right after.
