Can anyone help me figure out why Codesleeve/asset pipeline isn't working with my Apache virtualhost? I'm stuck at getting a 404 when I request it's application.js file...

Need Help (QnA)  -

I'm writing a REST API and have an endpoint that doesn't really need to return anything. It takes an integer supplied in the request and makes an association in the application...nothing need be returned at all. What's the best way to handle that? Just an HTTP status of 200 and no data?

There are many ways but I would suggest 204 code and no content. The other way would be to return 201 and include the link to the created resource in the content.

Are you taking the OWASP top 10 into consideration when building your CI apps?

Excellent article on the implications that DB design can have on your app development. I must confess to being a nincompoop in some areas!

yeah, from what I got from that article...MOST php/mysql developers are not doing it the way the author describes. He makes some really valid points...

Story
Introduction
With a background that includes surfing, professional cooking, waterfalls, foot launched flight and mountain biking...it should be clear that LIVING is my favorite activity.
For work, I've been writing web applications since 1998 and flying airplanes since 2003. I believe firmly in living after my passions and doing what grabs me...life is too short to do things you don't like.
I'm open to contract development opportunities with PHP programming on an ongoing basis, especially working with Joomla, CakePHP, Codeigniter or third-party API integrations....and especially for companies that have an airplane in need of a pilot ;)
Have a PHP project that is stalled or needs fresh eyes and hands? Let me know! I'd love the opportunity to help.

These folks are really fantastic. Recently, my E46 blew a clutch slave cylinder. I was away from home and stranded. Found Harrison Motorsports here on Google and given the great reviews and proximity to my location, I figured I'd take a chance with them. Had the car towed there and left the key in the dropbox and called the next morning. By lunch they'd fixed the clutch for less than $300! I was so surprised at the price (I've never been to the shop for less than $1K) I asked for a quote on my motor mounts and a brake system flush/bleed. The price on the motor mounts was WAY less than the estimate I got from my other shop. Paid over the phone and picked up the car that night...excellent work! I will definitely be back next time I have a job I can't (or would rather not) do myself. Thanks!!

I am a BMW E46 owner who is, for the first time in life, doing my own maintenance and repair work on my car. I've been ordering parts from FCP Euro for a little over a year and am completely pleased. The prices are fair, availability is great (they'll find it if they don't have it), packaging is perfect and the 'fit guarantee' is all the security I need. The team there does a terrific job when I have questions. I really couldn't be more pleased.
