Postcard of York.

I think this is from when we where up in Stonebow house. Google seems to have found it and made it into a postcard.

Finished my shoe rack.
It's maybe a little bigger than I imagined.
Had fun mixing up some milk paint to get the colour.
Lots learned as ever I think but mostly I am pretty pleased with it. And my hall is looking better already. ( That's not my hall )

Looks like a good read. The GDS have done some great work in turing things around and they have learnt a lot on the way. We all deal with those large politically driven systems.
This is a wonderful analysis of a set of anti-patterns in enterprise software development. While it is pitched as about government, and is based on lessons from the UK Government Digital Service, it is applicable to any large company trying to modernize its technology and practices.
