Photo Bomb

My boy loves nothing more than to jump in front of the camera when I'm taking a picture. Sometimes this is annoying. Sometimes it's joyful. :)

Hey guys I would like to introduce you all to +Bruce Rosenstiel who has joined our cohort. He's a trainee master going through the path of the protégé. He would like to see if any of you are interested in having a mini critique with him. I'd urge you to take him up on the offer! Please make Bruce feel welcome!

I'm playing around with Learnist. It's an interesting way to collect multiple learning pages into a single board with about a learning a particular thing. Kinda like Pinterest for learning. Nice! Looks like it needs to pull an image when you share a board in G+ though.

This is kinda neat. I'm testing an ASUS Zenfone at the moment and it has this shallow depth of field option in the camera. So this is fake shallow depth of field. It takes 2 shots and done some calculations. Yes I see the small artifacts. But considering this is a camera phone I think this is pretty nice looking.

An the chicken patia was tasty too. :)

I just backed this neat little Lume Cube product that launched their Kickstarter today. It's a super tidy little light cube with variable brightness controllable by bluetooth from your smart phone. Perfect for video and photography work. Water resistant. Flash or continuous light. Sync up to 5 Lume Cubes to fire together. Control all 5 from one app. Attaches easily to all kinds of surfaces using tripod mount, suction or magnets!

Magnets make everything cool.
The Lume Cube is a revolutionary little light. 1,500 Lumens Powerful in a 1.5"cube. Works with iPhone, Android and GoPro or any Camera

Picnic decoration

Every picnic should have a centrepiece. This is what the kids chose for theirs.

I've been playing with my new toy off and on for the last few days. Google found the video I've been sitting and made this for me automatically. I like it!

One of my Arcanum cohort members in his 2 truths, 1 lie post said, "I'm conquering the stratosphere". He wasn't lying! Here's the video he just posted from his stratosphere conquering weather balloon!

The balloon bursts at about the 14 minutes mark.

I just backed this neat little Lume Cube product that launched their Kickstarter today. Full disclosure - it's coming from a buddy of mine but it does look very cool.
