My friends at Flesh For Food make great bacon, put on some high-quality pop-up events, and are working hard to get a storefront and foodtruck this year. Please take a moment to vote for them at Mission Main Street Grants today!

Highly recommend this book. Fascinating tie-ins to postwar innovation history and the early concepts that led to the personal computing revolution. Waldrop makes it a compelling read and portrays Licklider as the 'guiding spirit' of what happens over several decades.

New mix. For my grandmother. Next year will be weird without her, but she'll forever be a guiding light.

I suppose now is better than later to get this stuff on paper.
If a fully autonomous war machine with no human operator goes rogue and kills a whole bunch of innocent people, who would be responsible?
