A truly remarkable man - Bill was in his seventies when this video was taken.
He has very weak muscles / hard of hearing / bad eyesight, but he derives incredible joy from his leatherwork!
Here you can see him doing a basketweave pattern with PERFECTLY straight lines!

This is not a bad solution to the pierced feather problem.
Last night I had them all at our guild meeting and from the comments there, it looks like a personal preference thing.

How many of you have your own websites and maintain them yourself?
Hair barrettes made of a single piece of leather - hand tooled - hand cut and hand painted.

I've been cursing my turquoise for a couple weeks now. It wasn't wanting to produce the same richness on some smaller pieces as it has for larger ones. I had been leaving the dye a bit heavy on the surface and allowing it to sink in.

I need some advice:
I make these feathers and now someone asked me to turn a few into hair barrettes.
It kinda destroys the feather!
Is this OK or is there another idea?

We mostly get take - out, but those times that we have eaten there, the service was good. This is not a MacDonalds, so the preparing of the food is a bit slower, but hand-made. The pizza is definitely the best pizza anywhere!
