How Do I Do That?  -

Beginner question:

How do I get back to the Family View once I have been looking at charts and other views?
I looked at the help files and they describe all about the Family view, except how to get there.
I don't want to fave to exit and reload the software each time to get there....

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of the replies to the “new season” e-mail, including some great suggestions for future hikes.  Based on the feedback received, there was a definite preference to visit Cleary Lake Regional Park near Prior Lake for our May 9 outing, so Cleary Lake it is!  The turf trails at Cleary Lake offer a nice springtime mix of textures for bare feet: some stretches of grass, plenty of packed earth, and some typical forest floor clutter of dried leaves and twigs.

Over the course of the hike, we will take a 2.7-mile “figure-8” route around the Lakeside and Ironwood trails, and then add on a 1.5-mile trek around the Poplar Creek trail loop for those who are interested in going a bit further.  Allow about two hours to hike the full course.

The trails should be barefoot friendly throughout, but feel free to bring backup footwear in case the tactile sensations get to be a bit much for winter-softened soles.  Also note that Three Rivers Park District does not allow dogs on turf trails, including those on which we will be hiking.  Lastly, be aware that the main park entrance road on the east side of the park (Co Rd 27)  is closed for repair; just follow the detour signs to the park’s south entrance (Co Rd 68) instead and continue on to the designated overflow parking area.

Be sure to visit the "Hikes" page of our website, bfhikersmn (.org), for links to additional park information as well as driving directions – just enter your starting location and MapQuest will give you turn-by-turn directions to the park entrance.

If you plan to participate in the hike, please reply to this message so that we know you are attending and can look for you before we hit the trails.  Also, if you need to contact someone on the day of the hike, you can reach me via cell phone at 952-412-2077.

Thanks everyone!

Where would be the best place for me to ask questions about logging food on my phone app (android)?

I did find the hint to just log out of the app and log in again.  That worked for me!
You do not have to uninstall the app, just log out and in.

A recently commissioned guitar strap.  As always I did a small test piece to satisfy the customer that the color was right and to help me decide on the design.

We mostly get take - out, but those times that we have eaten there, the service was good. This is not a MacDonalds, so the preparing of the food is a bit slower, but hand-made. The pizza is definitely the best pizza anywhere!
