I wish winter was over - these few warm days are just too few and far between.

Had an unfinished project from 19 years ago and decided to cannibalize it for a new bag of a totally different design. Well, the leather tooled beautifully and the end result turned out good.

+Craig Draper, I have been absent for a while and only saw your questions now.
For everyone else, I made these a while ago and have been wearing them seriously since October.
The sole shape was derived from the outline of my foot. On the one photo you can see my foot on the upside down shoe to show how much the sole is larger than my foot - remember that includes a 1/4" taken by the stitching.
The sole is just one piece of leather with no extra pieces for a heel - these are truly cheaters that makes you feel like you are walking barefoot. Even the two panels that hold the laces are simply decorative - just so they look more like real shoes.

I have been asked what software I used to enhance these photos.  Didn't have to use any!  Raw from the phone....

This place helps us afford drinking water and stay away from small plastic bottles. Totally worth driving to!!

We mostly get take - out, but those times that we have eaten there, the service was good. This is not a MacDonalds, so the preparing of the food is a bit slower, but hand-made. The pizza is definitely the best pizza anywhere!
