100cc Honda Win, Indonesian built on a 300 km ride Hanoi - Cuc Phuong and back over 2 days. Chain came off, engine stuttering and starving at ~70-80 kph (carburetor sick?), throttle cable had to be replaced. Haven't had that much trouble in 5 years riding various Honda Waves up and down the country. Still a sorta fun ride though ;)
How can anybody voluntarily attempt to roll their own custom ORM these days? ORMs appear to be the most complex and most disgusting pieces of code one could possible write. With plenty of kind-of-working ORMs for nearly every platform already around, where's the point of the suffering?
Any why do I have to suffer from yet another failed attempt to reinvent a wheel?
Android is indeed running Java, but it's a custom variant made by Google called Dalvik VM, not the Oracle/Sun/OpenJDK available for most Linux distros. And its not only the VM itself, if they make MS Office for Android it'll depend on a bunch of other Android-specific stuff. So just because it runs on Android doesn't mean its running on any Linux desktop tomorrow. I seriously doubt it ever will.
