The best thing about them was their staff. Talking with Connie was always a pleasure. She made me feel very comfortable. It was almost like getting to know a friend. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident, and I was referred to Connie from a co-worker who had dealt with the firm in the past. Connie came very highly recommended. I appreciated their level of professionalism. They are always available to speak with you whether it’s by phone or email. They are always ready to respond to questions you may have. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend them!

I couldn’t give them negative feedback if I tried and I’m a very particular person. Amazing overall representation. I couldn’t have been happier with them. I just felt amazing getting to deal with the Joel H. Schwartz law firm. I truly feel blessed to have met the people there. When we first met they drove all the way out to my place in Springfield to represent me. To make that sort of commitment was above and beyond in my eyes. My experience was reassuring from the moment they said hello. Overall, I had such reassurance because my first claim didn’t go through when I applied for disability on my own, as I was missing some documentation. I suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD and they always knew what to say to calm me down and help me relax. They would reassure me that attorney Pope would walk me through it. When I spoke with him he had the same effect -- what a calming voice. I truly feel like the law firm saw me as an individual and not like a file on a desk. They took such time and care and worked so hard on my case. The best thing about working with the firm was getting a favourable decision on my disability claim. They did everything they said they were going to do for me. Paperwork for me is a nightmare. I actually have panic attacks over filling out paperwork and require medication to muddle through it. It’s absolutely brutal for me and they just made everything easy. They never gave me a false sense of security; they told me not to worry and that they were going to do their best for me. For me that was the best part of it. They never misrepresented themselves. I would highly recommend them; they’re an absolute 10. I have already recommended them to a few people. I can’t say enough good things about him and the law firm. I chose to work for them because of their reputation and feedback. I did a lot of research online about what people thought of the firm. There were a lot of firms out there but none with the reputation they had in terms of being real people.

I’ve already recommended them. The folks that I worked with, Lynn Wax and Lilly Schwartz, were very helpful and understanding. I liked how they treated me. I had been declined twice before for social security disability. I had contacted a different firm and they told me I didn’t have a winnable case. When I contacted Joel Schwartz’s office they took my case. How they treat their clients speaks volumes. The experience was very pleasant. They contacted me any time there was any sort of issue, and they were really on top of things. They were phenomenal working with me and took the time to explain what was going on even if they had to repeat it three different times in three different ways so I would understand it. They were very patient, very understanding, and very calming, which was great for me. If I had a question they got back to me within a decent amount of time. They just knew how to work with me and that’s what was great for me. My particular experience was really good. Compared to the initial firm that I had been in contact with it was night and day. I thought they were on point and did what they were supposed to do. The previous firm didn’t take me seriously and these guys absolutely did. Thanks again for the help Lynn, Lilly, Joel and the firm, it's much appreciated!

This is a fantastic firm. I have already recommended them to several people. I had really professional representation from the moment I was in the hospital right up to the completion of my business with them. It was professional and personal in the sense that they knew who I was and what issues I might be dealing with. Not only did they support the legal piece, they helped me get through the emotional piece as well. People will benefit from their services. Right after my accident when I was in the hospital I had 10 or 15 firms that wanted to work with me. This was the only firm that would come to the hospital right away and talk with me. They dealt with me in a very professional way for the work that we needed to do. I felt that they were very friendly, extremely compassionate, and able to stand in my shoes. I felt like I was talking to friends as well as professionals. They maintained a great sense of boundary so that it didn’t become blurred.

My wife was in a car accident. The firm and our lawyer, Connie Toomey, were always there to support us. It was an excellent experience. We learned a lot about how efficient law firms help their clients. Based on experiences that I’ve had in the past and other cases with other law firms, Joel H. Schwartz did a phenomenal job. From communication to follow up after the case, all throughout the process the firm did everything a law firm is supposed to do for its clients. When I put in the first call I got an immediate response. With other firms, I had to wait for a response. Connie and the firm did a remarkable job of keeping us in the loop and giving us the right advice. I can't begin to thank Connie enough for how much she helped our lives. we will recommend to anyone in need of an attorney and we will definitely call her in the future for any help we may need.

As soon as I walked into their office I knew I was going to get the help I needed to get my life back! After consulting with attorneys Pope and Lillian Schwartz I had a feeling that the burden in my life was on the way out! It was because the people that I met made me feel confident that I went to the right place! Since I started talking to them they kept calling me to check on me! You don't get that personal service anywhere else! If you or anyone needs legal help you need to call this office, because they are the ones that go all the way to help you from start to finish! Thanks to the lawyers at this firm I know I'm going to be just fine!

At such a young age, I never thought it possible to be put into an unimaginable position: needing to apply for SSDI. Because my health issues had spiraled out of control, I found myself unable to do simple daily chores, nevermind going out into my workplace and performing my regular duties as a CDA. After two unsuccessful tries of my own, I began my legal search via internet. Coming from a small town, I knew I needed to go to the big city where the big guns were. I fell upon JHS and was appointed to Timothy Pope, who was there for me every step of the way. And not once did I have to travel to his office, we spoke on the phone and sent emails and he was more than prepared when it came to our court date. I couldn't have done it without him and his team. He is my lifesaver and I will forever be grateful for his time, patience and knowledge. He's the best <3
