Club over country, always

It is a debate that has raged on for years, with Raheem Sterling, Tom Ince and The FA’s new restriction of non-EU players being the most recent topics of debate. But for me, I would choose club over country every day.

For once, I agree with Robbie Savage

Robbie Savage, a so-called “football expert”, is a general airhead who has written for nearly as many papers as he has played for clubs. Ordinarily, I would say he is wrong about things 97% of the time (proper stat), but this time around, I find myself…

Doping: Is it worth the UCI's time?

Doping in sport is wrong, so say every committee, association and world sporting body, but in cycling, are fans suffering from watching weaker athletes?

Michael Carrick's new contract reeks of failure

As news broke on Friday that Michael Carrick had signed a new one-year deal with Manchester United, my thoughts went straight to what this means for the club. And, it means that the club has finally resigned itself to failure.

Clarity needed for FA's retrospective action system

Every now and then, The FA retrospectively punish certain players after the game has ended. Diego Costa against Liverpool for example, but why do they discipline some and leave others? The whole system needs clarity.

The Europa League group stages wrapped up tonight and England had two participants. Tottenham travelled to Besiktas in the early game hoping to finish top of their group, and Everton hosted FC Krasnodar, top spot secured, to experiment with their youth team.   Lights out for Spurs   Tottenham had travelled all the way to …

Wenger is stubborn he's done good over the years. It's time the arsenal board must clearly recognizes this issue. He should just move on, I'm still baffled why he didn't take Fabregas back and buy at least one defender. I'm not evens Arsenal fan and it frustrates me seeing them play.
