Just about everyone I've known who has made the mistake of getting a Windows Phone has been very eager to trade up to Android or iPhone. This includes myself.
Windows Phone started off life as a promising alternative to Android and iOS five years ago. Microsoft positioned its range of Windows Phone 7 handsets as the true third mobile ecosystem, but it's...

I have posted my comparison of the Galaxy S5 vs. the iPhone 5S. You can find it here:
I've traditionally loathed Apple products for several reasons. For one, Apple has traditionally marketed many of their products toward the elite, dare I say snobs. I've observed what I see as overconfidence in the personali...

Thank you so much for your immensely helpful video! We just bought this '08 Nissan Altima used, and we found out that the aux jack didn't work. Your video likely saved my life (just kidding), since my wife would have killed me if I put a new stereo in the nused car. Unfortunately, the link to your blog no longer works. The part from Pacparts cost me $14 with shipping, which is much better than the $200+ for a new stereo. I used to do quite a bit of soldering, so I had all the tools needed to do the repair. One thing I found is that the dash material around the vents is very thin, and peels off with even the slightest abrasion. Thanks again for an excellent tutorial!

It doesn't look any bigger. I think some Apple loyalists are going to be disappointed, and move to Samsung or other Android phones. I've already talked to a few.

I found out that the Google+ app on my phone is using a lot of my data allotment, and I hardly even use it. Also, it shows me a notification whenever someone posts something. And when I clear that notification, it comes right back seconds later. Guess what, you intrusive and buggy Google+ app...YOU'RE DISABLED!

Thank you, Dave. I just got an iPhone after using Android for 3-1/2 years. I can't even believe there's no legit setting for the signature!

Android 4.3 about to take effect on my Galaxy S4! Thanks for pushing out the updates, Samsung! #betterthaniphone
Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, is the fastest and smoothest version of Android yet. Jelly Bean improves on the simplicity and beauty of Android 4.0, and introduces a new Google search experience on Android.

Holy cow! I sure had a lot of apps to update after the 4.3 upgrade!

Can you say "Facebook Flop Phone"? I am ashamed to admit that I tried the Facebook Home software on my phone, and took it off after just 4 hours!

I've dealt with many Ford dealers in the area. Mangold just happened to have a car with the features I wanted, as found on an internet search, so we bought it. This was our first time ever shopping there. At first, I was greeted by a salesman who I thought was rather condescending. I think he realized we just weren't "clicking", so he passed me to Chris. I got along a lot better with Chris. He listened to my needs, and didn't try to control the experience. After I test drove the car I wanted, we haggled on the price. It wasn't a high pressure negotiation like I've experienced at other dealers. They were willing to give me a couple of days to think about the deal. Quite honestly, I often use this as a test to see if the sales dept. is going to try and use tactics to get me to buy right away. If they do this, I leave and check other dealers. Mangold did not do this, so they earned my business. The owner gave me a tour of the service dept., and pointed out the many awards the dealer and their service dept. has received. He also stressed that they believe in applying Christian values. I appreciate that, but I take those claims (from any business) at face value, and let my experience prove them right or wrong. I have had one experience with the service dept. They installed an accessory on my C-Max, but it didn't work right. I had to bring the car back the next day so they could correct it, and they did apologize for the inconvenience. Because the dealer is 17 miles away from home, they're going to have to do very well to warrant my business for small stuff like oil changes, tire rotations, etc. In summary, my experience with Mangold Ford over the past 3 weeks has been positive. It's been a pretty straightforward experience, nothing like "warm fuzzies", but also, nothing to cause me to even think about not coming back.

I've been going to Sport Clips since the day they opened the shop on Sheridan. The girls there take great care to do a great job. There are two main reasons I keep going to Sport Clips: 1. The MVP treatment. There's no use in going there if you're not getting the shampoo, vibrating chair, scalp massage, and back massage. You can get a great haircut almost anywhere. 2. The stylists really take the time to get to know you and your preferences. Occasionally I get a stylist who doesn't meet the standards. I've had one who acted like 'Edward Scissorhands'! I could tell she used to work for another chain whose objective was to get you in and out as quickly as possible. She even argued with me when I was upfront with her and asked her to take her time. Now I kindly decline when she offers to cut my hair. Still, I will keep coming back to SC!

Great variety of beer with friendly staff. They also have a party room if you need it. Be sure to try their seasonal brews. The only thing I could ask for is more food choices. The only thing they have now is frozen pizza, pretzels, and popcorn. Todd and Christian don't mind if you bring food in, though. Occasionally they'll have food trucks. It is great to have a local brewery!
