On average, 140 Canadians drown in boating incidents each year. More than 80 percent are not wearing life jackets. On the road, you wear your seat belt because you know you won’t have time to put it on in the event of a collision. On the water, think about your life jacket the same way. It won’t work if you don’t wear it.

Day Your medicine cabinet may contain old prescription medications that can be harmful to others. Bring your expired, unused or unwanted meds to participating OPP detachments on Saturday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for proper collection and environmentally responsible disposal.

Every road user can play a part in reducing the “Big 4” killers on our roads during Canada Road Safety Week and throughout the year.

I am a designer. I make logos, magazines, promotional materials and that sort of thing. I love to do branding and usability. I also develop great, functional websites. Embersonic is my freelance firm, and we are now accepting potential clients.
I am a photographer. I take pictures of rust, squiggles, cars, mountains, and people. Sometimes I shoot weddings and events. I publish my own photos on Flickr so that everyone is free to enjoy them. I also have a passion for the history of photography and have amassed a modest yet respectable camera collection.
I have a social life. Okay, I'll admit it's mostly digital - I spend a lot of my time online. For better or worse I can be found, followed and friended on the regular channels.
