The researchers say the observed ratios of the two pulse frequencies are 1.58, which is basically the golden ratio 1.618033988749895, while there is no mention that (π/2) = 1.5707963267948966.
(Phys.org)—A team of researchers working at the University of Hawaii using data from the Kepler space telescope, has found that the oscillations made by a star conform closely to the golden mean—further study showed that it also behaves in a fractal pattern. Want your very own miniature LHC?

Then VOTE NOW for ‪#‎LHCLego‬: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/94885

A PhD student working on the ATLAS experiment at CERN has created a replica of the Large Hadron Collider using Lego building blocks. It now needs 10,000 votes on the Lego Ideas website to qualify for the Lego Review, which decides if projects become new Lego products, read more: http://cern.ch/go/b7XZ

The image shows a computer simulation of the miniature Lego LHC, complete with four detectors (+ALICE Experiment +ATLAS Experiment +CMS Experiment and +LHCb Experiment) connected with blue dipole magnets. Image credit: Nathan Readioff. You can build your own miniature LHC now! Instruction manuals and part lists are available on the “Build your own particle detector" website: http://build-your-own-particle-detector.org/models/lhc-micro-models

Appeal: I've lived by this park for years. It is so increadibly ugly with that hideous signage marring up the landscape. If someone built a prision on the top, it would not look worse. Facilities: Too much concrete ruining parkland. Service: Too much service, some people would be doing the world a favor to stay home.
