"We lost our good friend Gary Arnold today. He signed Chickenfoot to BestBuy and became an honorary member of The Foot because he was such a wonderful force of nature and an amazing person. Cancer finally took him down, all 6' 8” of him. We lovingly called him Darth Vader, and The Big Man. We will miss him.”

I had so much fun tracking “Crystal Planet" with Jeff Campitelli and Stuart Hamm at The Plant in Sausalito, CA. We played along with “techno-like” backing tracks created by Eric Caudieux to influence how we rocked as a trio. Producer/engineer Mike Fraser captured the energy and sound of the band pushing the boundaries of instrumental rock.
