Looks like Proofreaders can make fairly decent money... and that has been one of my main concentrations in recent years.  I wonder how many of those jobs are in the Milwaukee area (a recent search returned no results).

Seriously, folks, if we let a single EMP detonation happen, it's all over.... I can't believe this doesn't get more attention or provoke a greater sense of urgency to develop defensive systems.

Now don't I feel stupid for buying three of his cookbooks.  In the trash they go: how could I ever use a recipe from such a vile person?  "Himmler's spaetzle or Bittman's baked salmon anyone?"

Introduction

Single dad (of +Nathan Nitz: Facebook, blog).

After a February 2009 layoff and a fruitless six-month job search, I studied accounting for a year. Despite straight A’s <stretches to pat self on back>, accounting just didn’t click with me, so I switched to studying design and photography.

Evangelical Christian.  I go to Northwest Baptist Church — please feel free to stop by at 10:30 some Sunday morning and say Hello!  I can usually be found sitting amongst the Macs and tweaking the 40 faders on the mixing board in the "tech booth."  Mixmaster J!

I find that quotes from Seinfeld are appropriate for nearly any conversation topic.
