Humility is a very attractive trait. Knowing that we always have more... to discover.

Anyone who acts as if they have all the answers? Is not a person I want to meet.

And it begins!!! So little time, so much to do...

The man burns in 287 days!

Looks like another weird but amazing theme for the 2015 burn. . .

http://burningman.org/event/brc/2015-art-theme/
This year's theme is about mirrors and masks, mazes and merger. It will be a kind of magic show that takes the form of an old-fashioned carnival. This Carnival of Mirrors asks three essential questions: within our media-saturated world, where products and people, consumption and communion morph ...

That's better...

The chromium team just announced the addition of 64-bit support to Chrome, with two brand new 64-bit Dev and Canary channels for Windows 7 and 8 users.

To try it out, you'll have to download the 64-bit installer from chrome.com/dev or chrome.com/canary. This new version preserves all your settings and bookmarks, don't worry.

Read the full blog post below to understand why you'll see an average 25% improvement in performance, improved security and stability.

And as usual, if you notice something wrong, please file a bug at https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/entry?labels=Arch-x86_64,Type-?,Pri-2,OS-Windows&summary=Win64:%20Feedback.

Xirrus continues to impress.

Visitors to the Johnny Cash Museum can now experience the "Man in Black" with an incredibly fast, reliable, and scalable wireless experience thanks to @Xirrus.

"We chose Xirrus to extend our museum experience. Today, the magic of Johnny Cash emanates from digital tours, streaming music and videos, and wireless applications that guests enjoy as they take a stroll back in time. Xirrus has enabled us to present the legend in an even more tangible and memorable way."

This #Chromecast is awesome!

Netflix - Works well once it gets going. It was a bit grainy in the beginning but it got better over time.

YouTube - Works great, better quality than the Netflix stream.

Play Music - Works great and the streaming was nice and smooth.

Chrome Cast - Web browsing was surprisingly good. I was even able to pull up the Ingress Intel map on my bigscreen. There was a bit of lag when I was using a wireless laptop but when I used a wired desktop that seemed to mostly go away.
Hulu - Worked great
Amazon Instant - Didn't work at all...

This is easily the best 35 bucks I've spent in a while. I'm probably going to buy a second one soon.

Yeaaaaaah! Got my #Chromecast

2-3 week wait... I think not. No way I can wait that long to play with it.

Take this multi-rotor, add a +Project Tango device, and autonomously map a building. After you have a 3D map make a few more passes with +Fluke Networks Airmagnet AirMapper and build a 3D model of all RF in the building.

Somebody make this happen!!!

Well that's not good...
Multiple Cisco products incorporate a version of the OpenSSL package affected by a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve memory in chunks of 64 kilobytes from a connected client or server. The vulnerability is due to a missing bounds check in the handling of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) heartbeat extension. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by implementing a malicious TLS or Datagram Tran...
