Just go my new issue of #Photoshop Users magazine and on page 15 was my shot of "Ol Thunder".  What an honor to be chosen for publication.  Thanks +kelbymediagroup and +KelbyOne.  Ol Thunder is a North American Aviation AT-6D Advanced Trainer built in 1943.

A shot of the full railroad trestle across Trestle Bay with the Astoria-Megler Bridge sun-spotted in the background. Huge train loads of enormous boulders were carried across this trestle in the building of the South Jetty at the mouth of the Columbia River.

#bighornsheep   #wildlife   #deschutesriver
My son Brian told me of the bighorn sheep on the Deschutes River, so I had to go see if I would be fortunate enough to see these beautiful creatures. Drove down to Macks Canyon yesterday and all total, we probably saw around 30 head. It is rutting season for these California Bighorns and I was fortunate enough to have a few head of Rams trying to tail up a lone Ewe just across the river at the Beavertail Campground. I hope you enjoy!

Awesome is hardly enough to describe the night time workshop in Shaniko, OR. on Saturday with Christian Heeb. Not only did he show us points of interest, Christian gave targeted instruction for the type of shooting we were doing at the time. Loved it all and want to thank everyone who led and everyone who participated for making this a world-class adventure.
