This epic spread has recently resurfaced, circa Nov 1990.  That's me as Danny Zuko in the upper right belting out Summer Lovin'  in our high school production of Grease

Ski Bum disguised as a Software Developer
Nerd Extraordinaire.  Ski Buff, Software Developer, Android & Google Geek, Photography

I grew up skiing for sport and pleasure in the Colorado Rockies.  Now I am passing on the torch to my kids and giving them the gift of a life long love affair with the Mountains.  Big mountain and deep powder is where you will find me.

It turns out that my parents wouldn't pay for skiing indefinitely, soooo....

Problem solving and abstract analysis, along with a healthy dose of mathematics and science, have always been areas of strength and passion.

Currently, I am an Oracle, Java, Android/Google and all around creative tech guru.  If you own an Oil company, there's a good chance I have touched some of the software you are running.

My life long dream is to spend a year Following The Storm

Photography is something I always enjoyed and has only grown in interest as new ways to shoot, edit, and share are always happening.   I only shoot with with Droid devices and occasionally on my wife's Nikon D5000 - when she lets me!

Target: Hacking hit 70 million customers

Target ups the number of shoppers affected by the card hacking problems during holiday shopping season.

Be prepared for the worst customer service EVER! Don't even bother calling the store to complain to the manager. When you call IKEA phone number you are routed to a national call center. I was told they can not accept phone calls at the store. If you want something delivered give yourself at least 15-30 minutes per customer. They say they are sorry, its a busy time of year (I am told that every time I have been in there). If they know its a busy time of year they should be prepared and have adequate staff available. There were crazy lines for home delivery and pick-up area. Tons of staff were standing around all over the store and up front. I was told they haven't been trained to help in that area. The lady scheduling home deliveries was completely overwhelmed with no help from any other staff. The check out process for large ticket items doesn't make any sense. You have to pay for your item at check-out, take your receipt to item pick-up then take your purchase over to the home delivery desk to set up a delivery time and leave your items. Be prepared for the worst experience of your life. Never going back even for the "great deals" on mass produced, mediocre quality goods.

Stopped by for lunch, loved the atmosphere and the pizza even more. It was so good, we ended up getting pizzas for our kids birthday party up the road at laser tag - the next morning. The crew was very accommodating to our early needs and even delivered. Every one ranted and raved about the flavor and especially the sauce. Oh, the sauce is so yummy. You can tell Passion for making great pizza is an ingredient in every slice. Highly recommend for lunch or a party!
