But everyone loved J#
Microsoft has announced that it is going to fork and extend Node.js, leading developers to express concern over what the move means for the long term future of Node.js.

So Windows is a hologram now... I'm trying to think of a joke, but Microsoft already did.
Microsoft unveiled more about Windows 10 in an event on Wednesday.

I get the feeling Microsoft really wants to be added to my list. I've been using Bing rewards all year, getting $5 Amazon gift cards every month or so just for using Bing. They keep giving me grief every time I try to redeem one, and finally this time my account has been "in review" for about a week now, and from what I'm reading, they do this to a lot of people before canceling their accounts for "violating their terms of use".

I guess using their search engine a lot is pretty suspicious.

Screw them. Back to Google for me. They may be evil, but at least they're relatively competent.

I love Microsoft's versioning system - Visual Studio 2015, which is Visual Studio 14, includes Visual Basic 14, which is the immediate successor of Visual Basic 12.

So now Bing is down, kind of. I swear, Microsoft is moving just a little bit closer to my list every day.

Ok, first, Bitcasa makes a liar out of me, twice, by screwing over their customers - before that, I backed them strongly as a safe alternative to storing all your crap locally.

Now Microsoft Azure, which I've heavily supported and recommended, is completely down. They've got multiple regions to prevent this kind of thing, and of course, multiple regions are down right now. Their status page isn't even working, so who knows what's going on...

Cloud providers are just making me look stupid right now.

Excellent writeup on those thieving dirtbags at Bitcasa:
A few days ago, Bitcasa announced that they were upgrading their storage infrastructure. And not just that - the upgrade would be accompanied by a "change in offerings". Originally, Bitcasa offered an 'infinite storage' plan for €79 per year, but no such plan exists on their 'new storage ...

So they can't get IE right even after the 11th iteration, and now they're going to start over on a brand new browser, but still have it use IE's foundation? Yeah, that's a good idea.
Microsoft is said to be at work on an all new web browser, codenamed Spartan, that could officially move the company away from Internet Explorer upon the launch of Windows 10. ZDNet reports that...

They should just build all of windows over a browser, or turn the browser into windows. heh.

All I've ever installed on purpose was VS2013 and SQL2012.

I wonder why my it takes Visual Studio 15 minutes to be usable after I boot up...

I've been coming to Hawaiian Experience for a few years now, and every time is always incredible. Generally I'll go with the signature massage, the Lomi Lomi - the first time I tried this, it was something completely different from anything I'd ever experienced. It's the most relaxing massage I've ever had - I was a Massage Envy customer prior, and it's like two different worlds. The spa is very nice - clean and relaxing atmosphere, and everyone is always friendly and helpful. It's a family-owned business, and it really shows - you get a real personal experience. Every therapist I've seen there has been great. The first therapist I saw was Nikki, and I've seen her many times since. I've experienced a double lomi-lomi several times over the years - most recently with Nikki and Samantha - and they did an absolutely amazing job. Generally, I'll go with a pure relaxation massage, and it makes all the stress in the world go away. But sometimes, when I've got sore muscles, a deeper massage works wonders, and Nikki and Sam took great care of me this past visit. I highly recommend this place - whether you're looking for stress relief, therapeutic treatments, or just plain relaxation, you'll love it.
