I'm not 100% happy with the drawing but the time lapse is fun to watch.

you can take one this weekend. I think it's like having Mom here in the room. I love it. Thank you so much. I love you and your talent.

The first half of this time lapse is fairly interesting in that you get to watch the snow from the morning of the 23 melting away.

I slowly keep plugging away at my goal to learn German. I'm getting better at reading it all the time but my listening comprehension is not good, so sometimes I watch this German kids show where they talk about how gummy bears are made or how cell phones work. In this episode they explain where the expression "alles in Butter" comes from.

Because I'm really only picking up a word here or there, throughout this episode I'm just thinking...

WHAT! IS! HAPPENING!

And now I need to know more. Was this really a thing? Wouldn't you just be turning yourself into bear bait? Maybe bears didn't have crowbars then... Like they do now.

I really enjoyed this episode of 99% invisible about calendar design. There's not a lot of hope for us converting to a logical 13 month calendar though, since we can't even convert to the metric system.

That tells me I've lost my Rochester ears. I heard it as a thick and obvious accent. It was immediately identifable.  Crazy!

I actually use Podcast Addict because I can't stand the UI of BeyondPod; it doesn't make any sense to me. I like PA tho. It works well and does everything I need.

Buckminster Fuller was either a brilliant inventor or a nutcase charlatan, depending on who you ask. And perhaps no single invention of Bucky’s encapsulates that divide quite like his Dymaxion car. Was it a death trap or a feat of engineering genius? The Wall Street Journal recently tested out a functioning replica and decided it was very much the former.

Nothing too exciting. Hopefully when I stitch all of April together it'll be cool.

I got take out from Pure Grille & Curry and it was delicious. I have been there for a lunch buffet once and it was definitely worthwhile. I hope to go back again soon.

This place has a great lunch buffet with lots of variety. We were there a few days after Thanksgiving and they had turkey curry which I've never seen anywhere else. I can't wait for a reason to go back again.

Love the burgers here. Great shakes & floats too. The fries are crinkle cut which is not my favorite fry style.

This place was great and really affordable. I was surprised that two tickets to a matinee only cost $4.
