Anyone who has been to a taping of the game show in Hollywood knows, the pressure is on after being announced as a contestant, but even so this product has an elusive price that has some people guessing far beyond what it could cost.
How did they think an iPhone costs? One contestant said $7,500. Which, in her defense, might be accurate if she didn't have the correct data plan and she ran over on data. The interesting thing about this situation is most people don't know what an iPhone costs because it is so far out of their budget that they don't even try to purchase a phone for personal use. iPhones cater to a certain crowd and it appears those folks aren't really part of the show.
An even bigger shocker is how much an iPhone with data, text and unlimited calling costs. According to Time Magazine, it is $1,969 a year. WOW! http://time.com/3652003/price-is-right-iphone-6-cost/
According to http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2014/12/31/was-heart-tugging-viral-video-of-generous-homeless-man-all-a-hoax/ CBS, the YouTube star, Josh Paler Lin has made out big too. It is "estimated that Lin made $52,000." That is so far -- more money in his pocket every time the video is seen too. Nothing wrong with making a buck with videos, but off a homeless prank - NOT COOL.
Selfless people offered food, shelter and kindness to the homeless all over Los Angeles and Orange County this holiday and not ONE of those people had their cameras rolling to make thousands of dollars in views. Offering a helping hand should ALWAYS be an act of kindness.
While some are complimenting the music, the most interesting element to this new single is how Kanye West has once again stretched the public's desire to hear music. His decision to add Paul McCartney has music lovers debating what artists, who wouldn't typically play together, should do collaborations. It's an idea long overdue as music should see no boundaries, but lately some of the artists have been extremely compartmentalized! Def Jam records has announced the single is available on iTunes now: http://smarturl.it/only1
I live in the heart of Los Angeles close enough to see the skyscrapers and Hollywood sign when I open my door yet near the beach a quick drive to Disneyland.
As a published author and celebrity columnist I work in Los Angeles on various projects. My favorite has to be my celebrity column. It is delightful to share positive entertainment news with others.
If I am not at the computer, check the beach, Disneyland or maybe I am out having dinner as living in LA has provided me with amazing opportunities.
