In Toronto, disposable diapers go into the green bin with organic waste and paper products. They are then collected by the city and composted and pretty quickly turned into fertiliser. Modern disposables are more biodegradable than the old 400-year diapers.
This won't work with a home composter though. The city processing uses what's called Hot Compost which really only works on a larger scale and with a municipal utilities budget. Hot compost also allows them to take meat and bones which you can't put in a home composter.

Hatched!

Baby cobra emerging from an egg. The hatchling is able to take care of itself right away and can spread its hood and strike on the same day it hatches. A cobra's hood is formed by an extension of the ribs behind its head. The Jacobsen's Organ  gives a snake super smelling ability so it can sense tiny changes in temperature, helping to track prey at night. Did you know that a collection of cobras is called a quiver ?
