Come away with us next June to a magical Northwest isle, where you will gather with kindred spirits to replenish and refresh yourself, finding nourishment on sacred land.
If you love tarot, dreamwork, creative play, and our sacred earth, you will love this retreat!
Here's a link to the one I sent out this morning, with tarot / journaling prompts for entering the dark time of the year.
Blessings of mist and falling leaves to all . . .
My workshop is called "Personal Tarot Icons," in which I'll guide you (through video, photos, and written instructions) into choosing a personal tarot card, writing a prayer or poem about it, and incorporating the card and your poem into a mixed-media collage piece. Sounds like fun, yes?
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll see in my workshop
Joanna Powell Colbert is an artist, author, retreat host, and teacher of tarot, sacred art, and earth-centered spirituality. Amber Lotus Publishing Co. calls her one of “the most accomplished and well-loved artists in the Goddess-spirit community.” She was named by SageWoman magazine in 2013 as one of the Wisdom Keepers of the Goddess Spirituality movement.
The Gaian Tarot, nine years in the making, combines Joanna’s love of symbolic, archetypal art with the mysteries of the natural world. The Collector's Edition deck was released in 2010, and its run of 1000 is nearly sold out. A mass market version of the Gaian Tarot was published by Llewellyn Worldwide in 2011.
Joanna teaches e-courses and workshops on earth-centered spirituality, manifesting your dreams, seasonal contemplative practices, creativity as a devotional path, and using tarot as a tool for inner guidance and self-exploration. She also leads Gaian Soul Retreats for women twice a year, in the spring and fall.
