My weaknesses I admit without hesitation that have a tendency to start lecturing about Customer Experience all the time for the people around me. As you can see I am not revealing my personal weaknesses in public like this without having an ulterior motive. I do it to torpedo an inveterate prejudice. I want to show that a weakness can be a strength. Especially when you start to listen to both employees and customers, embraces errors and discrepancies in your business that you take the first step to real development and growth of your business or organization. Wouldn’t it be great to lean back and let your customers do the marketing for you?

In fact, it is likely that you are already leaning back, completely unaware of the positive and negative marketing your current customers are already doing.

My guess is that you’re highly interested in social media and investing a lot of time and resources into building your own social media profiles.

That’s all good, but let’s not fool ourselves and think that allowing our fans and followers to like, comment or re-tweet our brand content is any giant revolution to marketing...
