Fascinating +Stanford University research on the power of teamwork and motivation. People "persisted 48 to 64 percent longer on a challenging task" when they felt they were on a team. Could mean higher success at work, sports, non-profits, and other endeavors. http://goo.gl/LLnBHh
Stanford faculty member Gregory Walton found that when people are treated by others as partners working together on a task, their motivation increases – even if they worked on their own.

Looking forward to apply some of Nancy Duarte's ideas on how to inspire others. See this TED talk where she scientifically analyzes what makes famous speeches so effective.
From the "I have a dream" speech to Steve Jobs’ iPhone launch, all great presentations have a common architecture. In this talk, Nancy Duarte draws lessons on how to make a powerful call-to-action. (Filmed at TEDxEast.)

Birthdays are not uniformly random..... Holiday babies are a lot more unique. I'm not sure I understand the spike of birthdays on Valentine's Day (Feb 14th) though.

So, how unique is your birthday?

The assumption might be that not all that unique, but it turns out that there are pockets of real uniqueness (beyond Feb 29). Look at Dec 24 or Jan 3 or Nov 23. What's up?

What's your date color below? Mine is deep, dark, red! Update: So sorry, forgot. US Data. CDC. http://goo.gl/B9Pr3H
