I am from AZ and had heard good things about this place and went there for the first time about a year ago. We got there about 10:45 am and waited in line for about 13 minutes before finally getting up to the register. Just as we walked up to the register we were told that they don't serve lunch until 11am and we needed to go to the back of the line and wait all over again. WTF!!! It was 2 minutes till 11 and we couldn't order lunch! We asked to speak to the manager and she even told us to go to the back of the line and wait all over again. I have written the management a few times and complained but never had any response back addressing my concerns. Very poor customer service. Next time we are in Oklahoma we won't be coming here.

This zoo is really overpriced for what you get. After you pay the high priced $18 entree fee they charge you extra just to see the exhibits and attractions. The zoo does look nice and has some neat attractions but it is not worth the cost.

The sign outside said $39.95. After I walked in I found out it was only for triple A and AARP members so we were charged $53. I thought that was okay as long as we had the normal accommodations, (clean and stocked room, everything worked, etc...). Well, first off, all the rooms looked like they had been broken into at some point. The door frames were all bent in with a crowbar. the lock to our room was very troublesome and we had to bend twist and pull to get the door lock to open. The stairs were rickity and looked like they could break at any moment. Literally, the stairs shook and wobbled as we walked up them. The pool was not heated and the roof of the pool room looked like it was about to fall in. In our room was the left over half roll of toilet paper from the previous tenant and I had to go downstairs to get a new one. The faucet on the sink leaked water all over the place, the bathtub would not hold water so we could not give out kids baths after swimming in the pool. It looks like this place cut corners wherever they could, including the safety of the guests. It was not worth the $53 we paid for one nights stay.

Great place for our kids and never seems too over crowded, even on the weekends. My only complaint is the cost. We bought our membership on Groupon so we paid half price so I am not too worried about it but if I had to pay full price I would feel a little ripped off. Plus, once you get in, you have to pay additional fees to see the movies and enter certain exhibits.
