A bridge for the royal family in Dubai. Imagine owning your own bridge!

For you digital blenders, I've created a new set of advanced luminosity masks capable of more accurate selections than classical luminosity masks. Feel free to read about them here, and see the before/after for this image: http://www.throughstrangelenses.com/2015/04/27/fit-for-a-sheik-meydan-bridge-dubai/

This is the second video in the Photoshop Secrets tutorials that I started a couple of weeks. I was pleasantly surprised to see this video was shared by Petapixel, SLR Lounge, Design taxi, and other sites. The tutorial got 30,000 views in 5 days! It's a very cool technique that I hope you enjoy.

Article By Jimmy McIntyreIn the second video in this series of Photoshop Secrets, we look at how to make very precise changes to your image based solely on colour. Surprisingly we do this by using a Black & White adjustment layer. This allows us to break our image down to primary colours, so that we …

Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque at Night

This is a stunning mosque, both during the day and at night. I don't usually include people in my images, but for this gentleman I was happy to make an exception.

If you'd like to see the workflow used in this image, an interesting before/after, and the EXIF data, please my blog:

I'm thrilled to announce that the Easy Panel for Photoshop is coming back to life.
After the newest PS CC2014 update, Photoshop no longer supported traditional panels. So over the past couple of months I've been working with developers to bring back to life a new and improved Easy Panel, with my favourite actions, which is compatible with both newer and older versions of Photoshop!
The panel, which is free, will be sent out to all email subscribers next week. If you'd like to sign up, please see my blog, at: http://www.throughstrangelenses.com/easy-panel-download-for-photoshop/

Reflections in Abu Dhabi
I was really looking forward to seeing these crisp reflections at the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque. At the beginning of the evening it was fairly windy, so the reflections weren't clear. Just as we were heading out, we re-visited this spot and were delighted to get some shots in before the wind picked up again.

Bright Lights of Dubai
Dubai is an incredible place for roof-topping. The views are stunning and the bribes to security guards to get on the rooftops are not too expensive :D

Here are five exposure blending techniques that I've used over the years, that have given me very clean, natural results. I hope, as always, that this is useful to you.

I hope you enjoy the information. There are many more free tutorials like …

I'm regularly asked about how I support myself, and my lifestyle, financially, so I wrote an article about my business and how I arrived at this point. I hope it's enlightening for some, and maybe even motivating for others. And you can take a peak at our new place in Korea :D

FacebookTwitterGoogle+StumbleUpon People are often curious to know how I support myself, and the travelling I do, financially. It is, after all, an expensive job. My biggest and main source of income comes from my Post-Processing courses. I feel extremely fortunate to be at a point now where I have a profitable business. It supports my …
