Here are five exposure blending techniques that I've used over the years, that have given me very clean, natural results. I hope, as always, that this is useful to you.
http://www.shutterevolve.com/why-you-will-never-need-to-use-hdr-software-again-to-blend-exposures/
Article By Jimmy McIntyre The techniques I’m going to show you in this article are truly powerful to the photographer who wishes to take their post-processing into their own hands, and learn how to blend exposures for the cleanest, most natural results. The Flash
More tutorial love! This image of Dubai Marina is composed of 5 exposures, shot over the course of 20 minutes. I have created a complete tutorial, including a PSD file for anyone to download, on my blog: http://www.throughstrangelenses.com/2015/03/15/a-flash-of-light-dubai-marina-tutorial-included/

I'm regularly asked about how I support myself, and my lifestyle, financially, so I wrote an article about my business and how I arrived at this point. I hope it's enlightening for some, and maybe even motivating for others. And you can take a peak at our new place in Korea :D

FacebookTwitterGoogle+StumbleUpon People are often curious to know how I support myself, and the travelling I do, financially. It is, after all, an expensive job. My biggest and main source of income comes from my Post-Processing courses. I feel extremely fortunate to be at a point now where I have a profitable business. It supports my …

How To Create A Long Exposure Effect In Photoshop
Although the images I publish are genuine long exposures, I know that many photographers don't own ND filters right now. If that's the case, and you'd like to simulate a long exposure effect in Photoshop, I created a simple tutorial that will show you how. I hope you find it useful.
FacebookTwitterGoogle+PinterestStumbleUpon Article By Jimmy McIntyre Nothing looks quite as good as using an ND filter when it comes to long exposures. But if you don’t have one, there are wonderful ways of producing the effect in post-processing. I created this video tutorial to show you how to create a realistic fake long exposure in Photoshop. …

Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque at Night

This is a stunning mosque, both during the day and at night. I don't usually include people in my images, but for this gentleman I was happy to make an exception.

If you'd like to see the workflow used in this image, an interesting before/after, and the EXIF data, please my blog:

I'm thrilled to announce that the Easy Panel for Photoshop is coming back to life.
After the newest PS CC2014 update, Photoshop no longer supported traditional panels. So over the past couple of months I've been working with developers to bring back to life a new and improved Easy Panel, with my favourite actions, which is compatible with both newer and older versions of Photoshop!
The panel, which is free, will be sent out to all email subscribers next week. If you'd like to sign up, please see my blog, at: http://www.throughstrangelenses.com/easy-panel-download-for-photoshop/

My wife and I are enjoying a relaxing holiday on the Philippine island of Boracay. According to Rachel I'm not supposed to be taking any photos. But I managed a quick shot of tonight's lovely pink sunset, anyway
