Robinhood is a stock brokerage that hopes to bring commission free trades of stocks to the masses. It’s an app-only brokerage that offers $0 commission trades on stocks – no minimums, no maintenance fees, and a streamlined interface that is intuitive to use. When they first came on the scene, I immediately thought of Zecco. …

Are you a fan of Uber? If so, you'll want to see this set of great money saving hacks I've discovered!
I love Uber. If you’ve never used Uber and you hate the whole process of using taxicabs, I’m about to blow your mind. Think about what it’s like to get a cab – you stand by the curb and look for a cab to drive by. You raise your arm each time and then see …

Do you know your credit score? Did you know you could be able to see it for free (no cost to you, no hit to your score) -- lost of places, from credit cards to banks - are now giving you the ability to see your FICO score for free!
Your credit score is one of the most important numbers in your financial life. If you have a good score, you can get nearly every credit card (including those that offer huge new customer bonuses) and get low rates on loans. If you have a bad score, you could run into trouble trying to get …

You can become a millionaire... it's not a get rich quick scheme (it's not even a scheme) and I'm not selling you a single thing except yourself.
The key to building wealth is simple. It’s just not easy. Wealth and money are the result of creating value in the world and capturing a piece of that value for yourself. Starting a business that provides value is one practical and common way to do it. Building a following, on social media, and giving …

Cut the cord and not miss a single show!
If you’re like me, you watch a handful of shows on a handful of channels. Usually on DVR. Getting hundreds of channels means nothing to you. It means nothing to me. It’s like being at a buffet filled with food you wouldn’t eat. Sure, it’s all you can eat, sure, but you don’t want to …

This spring, we took a visit to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburgh, here's a few lessons learned and tips for your next visit - https://wallethacks.com/great-wolf-lodge-hacks-tips-review/
Last year, we took a vacation to Puerto Rico with two other families and had a blast. It was beginning to look like a fun annual trip and we were looking forward to it when the threat of Zika became too big to ignore. 🙁 Instead of Puerto Rico, we all thought it be fun …

Complexity (which is just a polite way of saying clutter and chaos!) in your life has an invisible cost. Complexity in your finances has a very expensive cost.
Every day, once we get home, we toss our stuff on the island in the kitchen. Over time, things accumulate and eventually we run out of space. Things that should be put away aren’t because they’re pushed to the side and stacked up, for no good reason other than a taller pile takes up less …

Want a credit card but afraid of falling into debt? A new service hopes to solve that problem! https://wallethacks.com/debitize-review/
Credit cards are a fantastic financial tool. You can earn credit card rewards for using them, you can build your credit score over time, and you get liability protections and other credit card perks. But like any other tool, there are benefits as well as drawbacks. If you can’t use credit responsibly, you can become …

Ever see a $100,000 bill???
I’ve fascinated with paper money. I love how beautiful the banknotes of other nations are. I love the rich history you can learn by seeing who, or what, a country puts on its paper money. And I’m always a little saddened when I see the design of our banknotes. We take the term “greenback” a …

We love the Young School, both of our kids go to the King's Contrivance location. We like the educational programs during the academic year, the feedback they provide on our kids' progress, and the freedom to play and have fun independently throughout the day. It's really a step above "daycare" facilities and it truly is a "school." One thing we didn't expect was how they've given our kids structure in the day, from scheduled naps (which are crucial!) to coping mechanisms when things don't go their way, it's been fantastic.
