It has been many years since I bought a new car. My wife and I had purchased Pontiacs and GMCs from Jim Salerno back in the 80s and 90s, but then had shifted to other brands. It was great to be back. Met George Peter Gregory on my first visit and he showed me their lineup. I liked a Lacrosse that was on the floor and returned to see if we could make a deal. Again George was a great person to work with and the dealership offered very aggressive pricing. I even met Jim Salerno again, and he looks the same as he did 20 years ago! Anyway, great dealership… great people… great car! Thank you!

Just drove away with our third vehicle from Jim Salerno Buick GMC. Go ahead, look around, but guarantee you too will buy here. Easy, efficient, knowledgeable, committed to understanding your needs and exceeding expectations. The service department is outstanding as well. Our vehicles never had any issues - oil changes and scheduled maintenance only - made easy. Not too many places could convince me to take the time to write a review, but these folks earned it.

We worked with salesman George Gregory. He was fantastic! He was kind, patient, and accommodating - we would definitely recommend him! Further, this is our first time driving an American car in over a decade, and we are so pleased with our vehicle. We love its features and ride. We did have a couple of problems with the car shortly after acquiring it, and the dealer stood by it 100% percent and made it as stress-free of an experience for us as possible. They went over and above, truly. If you are looking for an honest dealer and a tremendous sales experience, look no further!

Absolutely HORRIBLE! Never again! I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs when deciding where to buy your new/used car! My wife and I bought a used Enclave from this dealership in December of 2013. 3/26/14 car went in the shop. Recalled part as well as the heated driver’s seat didn't work. Crap warranty and they wanted $800 to fix it. 5/20/14 in the shop again. another recall and electrical issues. 9/17/14 my birthday and the car is once again in the shop for a few days due to yet another recall as well as some electrical failures with the car. 12/9/14 in the shop yet again. Steering and suspension had failed. Also some fluid/oil leaking. Great! 2/11/15 in the shop again. Check engine light was on. Seemed to be electrical issues and ignition coil needed to be replaced. They were going to charge us $400 for it but I was not having it. I called the owner Michael Salerno and left him a voicemail but he never called me back. 2/24/15 in the shop again! Other coil went bad. 2/27/15 and again in the shop. This time the rest of the coils needed to be replaced. I then spoke with Michael Jr directly! While in Michael’s office I had quite a lengthy conversation with him about our car and any type of resolution that could be brought to the table. He said to me that this car was only going to get worse and he suggested that the best thing to do was to get us into a different car with the same payment bracket. I asked what I would do until then with a warranty that means nothing that I’m paying for monthly. He said to me and I quote “If anything goes wrong with this vehicle while we are trying to get you in a new one, then bring it back, bring it to my attention and we will take care of it”. So I asked “Pretty much you guys are going to be my warranty and I shouldn’t have to worry until I get into a different car”? He said and I quote “Yes”. 3/31/15 In the shop again! This time let’s add the harsh shifting delays and fuel injection service that they nailed us for! 5/28/15 our AC stopped working. I called and spoke with Michael Jr. and he told me not to worry, to just bring it in and they would take care of it. 6/3/15 my wife went there with the car and she had called me letting me know that it would be $305 to do it. She said they had spoken to Michael Salerno Sr. and he had offered to eat half the cost. I told her to have Michael call me. Instead I get a call from a Terry. She was calling on Michael’s behalf and said that Michael is still going to honor the offer of half the cost to do the repair. I then told her and I quote “So the meeting that Michael Jr. and I had doesn’t matter? That whole deal was a lie and bulls**t!? Just like the finance guy lied to me about the warranty? Just like AJ is giving me the run around waiting for him to get back to me for almost 4 months on a car???” I then told Terry “Tell Michael that his offer sucks a** and I expect a call back from him”! She says and I quote “I will give him the message”. I immediately took my car to Dover Dodge and had a real sales guy look at my situation, address it, take my financing application, showed me a few vehicles, choose a brand new vehicle submit everything to the banks, got approved and walked out with a new car. This was all the proof I needed to see that Salerno is not only filled with a bunch of liars, but that their sales team represents exactly what the owner portrays himself to be – A DISHONEST JOKE! 6/4/15 still no callback from Michael senior but I'm in a new car thanks to a real dealership! Steer clear from Salerno Dealerships! Firm warning!!!!

We just bought a new GMC Acadia from Jim Salerno Buick GMC. Hands down, it was the best experience we've had purchasing a car. The final purchase price was better than we had hoped (how many times does that happen?), so none of that awkward haggling! More importantly, the staff was amazing. Our sales consultant, Suzanne Cimbal, was the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. It was such a smooth process from start to finish. I highly recommend this dealership and Suzanne!

Wow I never thought in 2014 that the bait and switch was still possible. I inquired about a vehicle on their website and called the sales person Dan to confirm the price and options on the car. Dan explained how fast the cars were selling and asked me to leave a deposit to hold the car until I was able to get there later that day which I did. When I arrive I was offered a different car than the one I had put a deposit on. The car I wanted to purchase was no longer there. I was offered a test drive in a car I did not want but never offered a car with the options that I wanted in it. I was never offered anything other than the car they wanted to sell. I went hours out of my way to go to Jim Salerno don't waste your time because when a deal seems to good to be true it is. I understand things happen but its how you handle them that shows the quality of a business. Stay clear of Jim Salerno.

My Experience: Friendly and welcoming! Took care of two recall issues I had on my Pontiac G6 2007, as well as did not mind lending me a loaner car for the day so I could still get to work. Gave me a call promptly when the car was done and provided detailed information on what work was done. Excellent!
