Google+ is SO dynamic.  Sometimes it shows pics; sometimes not.  Sometimes I can see more that 72 posts; sometimes hard stop at an imaginary line 5 pages down.  "Life is like a box of WTF..."  ~Forrest Whittaker

Sad, in a way, that George Harrison was unable to get the guitar solo right on 'Baby. You Can Drive My Car' (McCartney did the guitar solo track in Harrison's absence which proved, in a way, that McCartney was the true talent and that Harrison just hung along. cashing royalty checks).
What do I know? I was a personal savior of the  Kit Kats.

Greeting plussers.  If anyone out there in Google+ land is a Python SME and is interested in helping me get a script to run in Win7 (not write, run), I'd much appreciate the sharing of your expertise.  (Would be willing to compensate with $20 transfer to your PayPal account.)  Background:  I wish to remove the PRIV tag from my .mp3s.  Someone's already written a handy Python script called eyeD3 that does just that.  I've used it successfully in the past and can't get it to run to save my life now.  Symptom:  When I run, "python m eyed3.main –remove-frame PRIV ./" it doesn't seem to be able to find eyed3.  I either get a "can't find eyed3" or "eyed3 module not installed" error.  (I suspect a newer version of Python, namespace tweaks and my stupidity are hosing me.)  I've tried a ton of things like:  Ensuring my path reflects everywhere I might be calling stuff from.  I've followed tutorials to the letter (some of which are outdated).  Googled.  Uninstalling and reinstalling.
If you think you can help and would be interested, holler.  I will keep trying until I get it to work.  I might be 50 by the time that happens, but I won't quit :)

Deal!  (I'm still giddy.)  The only downside is I can't mention them in the 'white-paper light'.  If there are repercussions for sharing the instructions, they're mine and mine alone.  We PMs are trained to give credit and take responsibility :-)

Signal boost!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm a fashion designer that makes digitally printed dresses and clothes. Recently I made a shirt for a friend of mine featuring the DOOM code.

The dress was really well received. Now I'm wondering; would anyone here be interested in a dress (or t-shirt) with your own code on it? Perhaps a snippet you're particularly proud of or that you worked hard on?

Tip of the hat to +Douglas Kuhn for sharing this!!!
Adopting a mob mentality may give your development team a productivity boost and improve software quality to boot. The reason, proponents say, is that working as a team allows for faster feedback loops and avoids problems associated with merging code from multiple developers.

The food is GREAT and the service is outstanding. So far I've had the fish tacos and the chicken burrito. The tacos were mouth watering and the chicken burrito was just like I like it. The burritos came with a yummy side of black beans (that had corn and cilantro mixed in) and salsa. I've eaten there twice and I'm taking my kids there for dinner tonight. Keep it up Enrique!!!

Outstanding food. My wife and I not only like Thai, but cook it on occasion. The Thom Ka chicken is quite rich and this is becuase they use a coconut cream base, but the proportion of all the other ingredients is precise and perfect. I had the house green curry with chicken at 2.5 peppers on a scale of one to four and it was perfect. The version of green curry they use here includes the baby egg plant and green peas. I am NOT a fan of eggplant, but the green curry had saturated it and I ate four significant pieces one right after another. Wife had a red curry based shrimp dish and reported it outstanding; spot on heat, sweet and overall flavor. The atmosphere was very nice too. The place is huge. We're visiting from Cary, NC and when we come back this way, we will go back eagerly!!!
