Jim dropped a quarter into his first video game (Pong) back in 1977, and has been avidly gaming ever since.
From 1988 to 2002, Jim served with the U.S. Army (82nd Airborne Division) and the North Carolina Army National Guard (382nd Mobile Public Affairs Det. and 130th Military History Det.).
He began his freelance video game journalist career in 2003, and has since written for The Wargamer, WarCry Network, PC Gamer, ArmchairGeneral.com, and GameFront.com. He's also worked as a Social Media & Community Manager Specialist for Alchemic Dream. Jim is currently a Staff Writer at Inquisitr.
When he’s not writing or gaming, Jim is usually keeping physically and mentally fit, watching the latest sci fi shows and movies, and working with his G+ passion project, Geekamory.
