Fedora has always been a popular desktop Linux distribution, but it has not always had the reputation of being welcoming to new Linux users or to those who just want it to work right “out of the box” with multimedia codecs or proprietary software. Korora is a Fedora spin that tries to provide a user-friendly desktop experience with little or no additional work needed by the user. Korora 21 is the latest release and it offers a number of improvements for users.

Excellent history of the original Star Trek show. This is the first volume of two, and hopefully there will be a third. Exhaustively researched and incredibly detailed.

It doesn't matter, Linux in almost any distro is perfect now days. Few Years ago you had to worry about wireless and even graphics drivers thanks to nvidia... But not so much anymore. So long as you use good hardware... Not some proprietary apple pos.

The iPhone 6 Plus is a great phone, but there’s one really annoying thing about it that needs to be fixed: It desperately needs a split-screen keyboard in landscape mode. Landscape mode on the iPhone 6 Plus is one of the things that sets it apart from the iPhone 6 and earlier iPhones. But the problem comes when you are trying to thumb type in landscape mode.

Lenovo is all over the media recently, and not for a good reason. The revelation that it corrupted its computers with the vile Superfish adware has shocked many people in the computing world. It’s almost impossible to believe that a company could be so incredibly stupid and so unbelievably uncaring about the security of its customers.

Was so close to buying A lenovo a while back, glad I didn't.

It reminds me of when I once downloaded something from CNet download. I only wanted to try something out and spent the rest of the day trying to get a load of crap of my laptop.

I know I'm an idiot but I dread to think the number of people who get screwed by thinking they can trust a brand.
