One Brafton customer that had already partnered with our editorial team for a written content strategy wanted to build a stronger visual presence. So we worked with the company to create a video marketing strategy, including twice-weekly video blogs to complement the ongoing blog posts it received.

It didn’t take long to see the impact video content was having on the website’s organic search presence: http://bit.ly/1BPr85W
One Brafton client saw just how quickly video content can have an impact on marketing results when it added video blogs to its web strategy.

Thanks for the add +Noam Flint.  Never ceases to amaze me how technology makes the world so much smaller despite thousands of miles of separation.

One of the Scariest Google Penalties I've Seen

http://inbound.org/discussion/view/this-is-insane-period-matt-cutts-on-why-doc-sheldon-s-penalty-was-valid has all the details. What worries me is when Google's spending time trying to determine if a single post had manipulative intent or wasn't worthy of getting specific anchor text. It feels non-scalable and punitive - intended to scare rather than to improve search quality.

That said, the whole thread is worth a read as the commenters on Inbound bring up a number of good points around the issue.

I'm not always the biggest fan of +Gary Vaynerchuk 's delivery, but the advice he gives about being his own brand -- being humble and helpful -- would go a long way for any brand.
