Haven't dropped off the planet...
Still alive and well, just had a little break and haven't been taking that many photographs recently.  I'm glad and surprised you haven't all uncircled me for being so boring.  Thank you.

Here's a little lady in the bath for #SpiderSunday  with +Kimberly Hosey and +Lerato Majikfaerie.  Hope you like!

Finding time...
Today I went for a little walk in my neighbourhood and took a few macro shots like this one. Doesn't sound like much but for a long time now my local walks have been about one thing: Ingress.

Feels good to have the capacity to get my study done; go for a walk with my camera; and process the shots the same day. That said, I am missing some of the social aspects of the game since 'retiring' last week.

Anyway, this little lady is for #spidersunday  (+Spider Sunday), curated by +Kimberly Hosey and +Lerato Majikfaerie.

Bergen Harbour
Bear with me guys...my new PC's arrived and it's nice and fast but I've got to find the link for CS6 and hope I can run it without deactivating the old (dead) install.  LR CC trial runs out today!

Meanwhile here's a shot of Bergen, from near the end of this year's holiday - I hope you're all having enjoyable weekends.

Langbro from Knippelsbro
My PC with CS6 on has been confirmed dead, so I'm ordering a new one and using a Lightroom trial on my wife's laptop in the interim...this has affected my productivity, so I'm slowly getting through the shots.

For #bridgesovertuesday  (+BridgesOverTuesday), curated by +Clare Bambers.

Norwegian Tarn
One of the nicest days we had in Norway was walking around Fløyfjellet near Bergen, and this is a beautiful lake we chanced upon while there.

Still here...
I know I haven't posted anything in weeks...I can assure you it's not down to a lack of new shots, in fact quite the opposite: I think I have too many from which to choose.  Plus I am rather busy.

Here's one for #floralfriday  (+FloralFriday), curated by +Tamara Pruessner, +Beth Akerman, +Eustace James and +Kiki Nelson. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I create and fix up websites and systems, and some other stuff.
Introduction
I'm currently studying towards a B.A. at the Open University, in various arty subjects, which is a happy diversion from the dreary coding I seem to end up doing most of the day.

Although I have been interested in photography from an early age, having grown up with an older brother who took photos and developed the results, through to later years where I owned my own camera and took black and white shots using real film, I took a photography module a while ago which has reawakened my passion.  That's why most the stuff I share these days are photographs.

Just so you know, I'm not usually very interested in joining communities or signing up for events.  If you want me to join your community or event, then send me a personal invite telling me why you'd think I'd like it (hell, it doesn't have to be personal, but you do need to tell me why).  On a similar line, even if [you think] that photograph is the most amazing photograph in the world, I don't need to receive a notification because you sent it to me personally.  People who senselessly and needlessly generate notifications for me will be muted.

I used to be the Admin for the LeftLion page, which I still hope will put Nottingham on the G+ map, but it's very early days yet.

We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway in June 2012, although the weather was terrible! The rooms were nice and clean and Richard and the rest of the staff made us feel cared for and welcome. My bathroom was a little cramped, although the room itself was a good size and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and although the restaurant wasn't open when we were there the complimentary tea and cakes in the afternoon were a nice touch.
