I'm guessing at about 4mm +Chris Levers.  The Abbey was quite nice, haven't even looked at the shots yet properly...

Hello +Chris Levers, wondered when you might be back. Thanks for the nice comment, the sun was very strong that day in the Camargue, and thank you to +#EquineTuesday, hope it warms up soon for you (+Jillian Chilson)!

I've not got any new photos to show you guys, there's isn't a daily theme for inept sporty activity or blurry beer drinking, but here's another tiny garden spider from a couple of weeks ago.

For #spidersunday  (+Spider Sunday), curated by +Kimberly Hosey and +lerato majikfaerie.

Packing up
I'm off for the weekend to a stag do.  Supposed to be taking photos...hopefully my liver will make it through the weekend.  Think I'm getting too old for this kind of stuff.

Here's a still very tiny garden spider packing her lunch away, for #buggyfriday  (+Buggy Friday), curated by +Ray Bilcliff, +Dorothy Pugh and +Sherry McBriar and #buggylunch  (+Buggy Lunch)  by +Mandy Allen and +Kim Sinclair.

Thank you +Mandy Allen and +Dorothy Pugh for your comments.  Survived the stage do Mandy, just about!  Most of it North Wales without any signal at all (shock horror!).  Need sofa time now... ;)

Thanks mate...this one got "explored" which was a first for me.  Initially I was wondering why all these people who hadn't circled me were giving it +1s and commenting!

I create and fix up websites and systems, and some other stuff.
Introduction
I'm currently studying towards a B.A. at the Open University, in various arty subjects, which is a happy diversion from the dreary coding I seem to end up doing most of the day.

Although I have been interested in photography from an early age, having grown up with an older brother who took photos and developed the results, through to later years where I owned my own camera and took black and white shots using real film, I took a photography module a while ago which has reawakened my passion.  That's why most the stuff I share these days are photographs.

Just so you know, I'm not usually very interested in joining communities or signing up for events.  If you want me to join your community or event, then send me a personal invite telling me why you'd think I'd like it (hell, it doesn't have to be personal, but you do need to tell me why).  On a similar line, even if [you think] that photograph is the most amazing photograph in the world, I don't need to receive a notification because you sent it to me personally.  People who senselessly and needlessly generate notifications for me will be muted.

I used to be the Admin for the LeftLion page, which I still hope will put Nottingham on the G+ map, but it's very early days yet.

We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway in June 2012, although the weather was terrible! The rooms were nice and clean and Richard and the rest of the staff made us feel cared for and welcome. My bathroom was a little cramped, although the room itself was a good size and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and although the restaurant wasn't open when we were there the complimentary tea and cakes in the afternoon were a nice touch.
