My story for +sen today.
The death of Star Trek legend Leonard Nimoy not only brought great sadness to legions of fans of the fictional Mr Spock. Tributes poured in too from people involved in the real business of space exploration, both on the ground and in orbit.

Here's the article linked in one of the comments on the previous article. There's lots of good info on the projects under way at Mojave.
17's Jim Scott reports on the continued development of private space flight in eastern Kern County, in the wake of the tragic crash of SpaceShipTwo in October of 2014.

A little late, maybe, but here's a good write up by our local UFO researcher, Chris Rutkowski.
Maeengan is a great guy and a fine researcher. He's also knowledgable about all things Aboriginal and Indigenous, with connections to many First Nations communities. So if he's heard a story from one of them, there's something to it. He then added quickly: However, I think this morning, ...

The tactics used on terror suspects after the Sept. 11 attacks were crimes, and the perpetrators knew it. Now they must be brought to justice.

It's really sad to see how quickly the US abandoned the moral high ground. Even worse, how quickly we and the rest of the West followed them.

Clearly time for this doofus to resign.
An Ontario Tory's statement that he doesn't believe in evolution has puzzled and frustrated his fellow Conservatives who admitted Wednesday that stance doesn't help a party trying to rebuild after four consecutive election defeats.

Holy OMFG!!
The massive size of the carrier aircraft now in assembly at Mojave, California, for Stratolaunch Systems’s space launch program is apparent for the first time in these rare stills taken from footage shot for a recent news story by KGET 17, a Bakersfield TV station. One of the two enormous twin fuselage sections under assembly.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along... Follow up to the previous article.
Oh, it's still a hoax, but it may now be easier to pinpoint who the hoaxer is. As well, new details have emerged as to what happened on the night of February 18, 2015, near Jackhead First Nations, and why there were military vehicles there. As I mentioned in my previous post, I have spoken a few ...

When identifying the extra items I needed, the staff exercised good judgement in balancing cost versus need. Very satisfied with my experience.
