Anyone want to see a post with comments that got way out of hand? I posted this two days ago and was away from it for a day. When I returned, I was shocked by the amount of comments and by the ignorance and hate contained in those comments. I had to shut it down. What the hell is wrong with people?

To the people that post comments full of ignorance and hate: Grow up!

**I'm disabling comments on this post, as well, so it doesn't start all over again.**

A four-year restoration project of a 1937 Lockheed 10A “Electra” is nearly complete. The aircraft is a sister to the Lockheed Model 10 Electra flown by Amelia Earhart in 1937 when she disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean. It is being restored by Wichita Air Services, located at the Newton City-County Airport in Kansas.

The video shows the extent of the damage on AC214. Particularly interesting to see the carbon fibre in what's left of the stabiliser. Sad that an airplane I know well came to grief.
Investigators are collecting more evidence from the wreckage of Air Canada Flight AC 624 including new close up photos that show severe damage to the aircraft and the recovery of the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder.

A discovery by an Alberta schoolteacher may have revealed what happened when Canada's ancient camels and horses met humans for the first time.

One of the great experiences of my life was to stand at the end of the runway as a CP Air 747 took off. It took forever to rotate, and then passed overhead at what seemed like about fifty feet. I can only imagine what it would be like for one of these monsters to pass overhead that low.

Beautiful.
A B-29 Superfortress known as “Doc” rolled out of a former Boeing Wichita hangar on March 23, 2015, following 15 years and 300,000 hours of work by scores of volunteers. The bomber, built by Boeing in Wichita in 1945, had been parked in the California Mojave desert for 42 years.

On top of the California drought, now more bad news.
By Katy Daigle NEW DELHI The world could suffer a 40 per cent shortfall in water in just 15 years unless countries dramatically change their use of the resource, a U.N. report warned Friday. Many underground water reserves are already running low, while rainfall patterns are predicted to become more erratic with climate change. As […]

I bought a new bike from here. The staff was quite helpful, and there's a good selection of bikes. I thought the prices were fair, if maybe not the cheapest place in town. When identifying the extra items I needed, the staff exercised good judgement in balancing cost versus need. Very satisfied with my experience.
