I Geek Natived!
Geek Native managed to tap into a highly skilful scout party for #SDCC. Mission 1? Rule 63.
Rule 63 of the Internet says that for every pop culture character, there is another version of a different gender. This is particularly true of cosplay where costumers enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters regardless of gender.

This is so cool. I'd finally try learning how to felt. I've seen some adorable felted creations on Pinterest and I'd love to try my hand at one of them.

When we first checked in, things were good. The room looked clean and nice. When we got back later to go to bed though, we noticed how small and lumpy the pillows were, how thin the bedspread was and how there were hardly any blankets. We found a notice informing us that we could get extra pillows or blankets for an extra fee. We tried using the internet, but the connection was sooooo slow. I finally took extra sleeping pills and went to bed. Then in the morning, we were woken up by sawing at 7:30. When I complained to the front desk, they denied that there was any construction going on. I found the person doing the work by the dumpster and asked him if he was sawing. When I returned to the counter, they denied knowledge of the person, but said they would look into it. They then called me in my room and insisted that there was no one there and that if there was, he was a trespasser. I insisted that he told me he was sawing and she said if that was the case, he must have been lying so I wouldn't report his trespassing. Then she said that they had no reason to believe anyone was sawing -basically calling me a liar. My boyfriend and I then found the person doing the sawing and his saw and brought the desk clerk out there. She insisted that there were no other complaints and that she did everything she could by apologizing earlier. We finally got her to call the manager and asked for a partial refund the manager offered a refund of 50%. The desk clerk then messed up the refund paperwork and had to call tech support to get it worked out. Then she gave me the refund, which was under 50%, though at that point I was too tired and frustrated to argue with her over the small difference. After being treated so poorly, I would NEVER stay here again.
