+Clare Dunn at Kingston Mines last night. Great opening performance for +Randy Houser. They both came and burned up the dance floor to some great blues music. Clare was cool as hell!

Google, you've usually got this usability game locked up. Today you're really dropping the ball. First, the Google IO page looks really nice and has an interesting interactive demo but there's no link on to the registration page! I had to search through Google+ for someone who posted the link. (fyi it's google.com/events/io/registration)
More importantly, once I got to the registration page I hit the "begin registration application" button and I'm being told registration is closed! It is clearly supposed to be open until the 18th. #google #GoogleIO2014
Edit: I just read that registration is not opening until 4pm pacific time. If that's the case that info would be something you'd want to put on the registration page. Not a message that tells me registration HAS closed. How about one that says it hasn't yet opened?

Downloaded, side-loaded, and tested. This is one of the applications for which Glass was made! Hope to see a lot of useful and fun applications of this!

Was misled by Hertz rep at the counter. Cost me more than double original rate. Turns out they can tell you whatever they want as long as you don't call them out on it. Always check your contract because they may have lied to you.   #hertz   #badbusinesspractices

Well that's a pretty good use of Glass
My Adventure Teaching with Glass

As a Glass Explorer, my goal is to transform the way I teach science, making every moment a teachable moment. With the help of +CERN and +Project Glass, I've begun pursuing my goal in the most spectacular way - teaching a class of physics students from halfway around the world while touring the Large Hadron Collider. I'm so excited to share this incredible adventure with you.

#ifihadglass I'd take it snowboarding, skydiving, Tough Mudder-ing, hiking in the Rockies & the Appalachian Trail, running & biking in Chicago along Lake Michigan, into the Chicago Triathlon, and, as I am a software engineer, I'd type some words to find out what Glass can do!

#ifihadglass I would wear them in Macao when I travel there in May for a convention. Imagine being able to share the convention floor with coworkers in real time or a live view of the city with friends & family from the opposite side of the Earth!
