With all the snow we've been getting here in New England, I've been getting a lot of funny looks when I pull in to work in my Miata daily driver. Whatever you drive, remember that 4WD is not a 'winter safety feature.'
The Mt Burke hillclimb was incredible, and I tore down almost 10 seconds from my previous best time! If you're interested in coming out and seeing what our event are like, consider volunteering as a safety worker at Mt Ascutney II on Sept 13-14.
I'm a systems engineer who races cars up the summit roads in New England's State Parks.
“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

Excellent Kobe burgers, a good beer selection, friendly staff. The menu is kept small and simple, and has been trimmed down so there are only good options available. A daily special keeps food interesting, even if you visit regularly.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and in the winter being able to eat around the fireplace is a nice touch.
