That's roughly what I'd want for a garage/shop, but I certainly wouldn't just have one car in it.

The Mt Burke hillclimb was incredible, and I tore down almost 10 seconds from my previous best time! If you're interested in coming out and seeing what our event are like, consider volunteering as a safety worker at Mt Ascutney II on Sept 13-14.

I'm in the process of preparing for this weekend's race event at Mt Burke, and have worked out most of the major rattles and thunks in the Miata for it. I'm considering putting together a short web video series for this season's competition. Would anyone be interested in seeing something like that?

This past weekend was an absolute blast at an event that is essentially the Olympics for hillclimb racing (but every 3 years instead of every 4 years). I wasn't racing in this event, but I'm racing in every other hillclimb event this season!

This year, we were lucky enough to have a Climb to the Clouds event, a hillclimb race up the Mt Washington Auto Road. It was a huge success, with some new world records set and a pair of all-electric (not hybrid) race cars were fielded! Read more at http://driven-daily.com/climb-clouds-2014/

The Climb to the Clouds (CTTC) hillclimb event is an historic event, the oldest motorsport event in the United States (the second oldest is Pike's Peak in Colorado). The beautiful, forested base of the mountain climbs the steep slope of Mount Washington above the treeline and into the realm of ...

When I can't see the roof any more, I'll consider a bigger car ... or I'll just keep shoveling until I can see the roof again.

The biggest downside I see to having a sports car as a daily driver through winter is that I can't see through the snow banks when pulling out from stop signs.

With all the snow we've been getting here in New England, I've been getting a lot of funny looks when I pull in to work in my Miata daily driver. Whatever you drive, remember that 4WD is not a 'winter safety feature.'

"Four-wheel drive may help you go better in the snow, but it won’t help you stop better, or keep you from skidding. Don’t let your four-by-four make you overconfident!" - http://www.rma.org/tire-safety/seasonal-driving-tips/winter-driving-tips/

Openshot really doesn't work for large video editing. Even with 12x2.4ghz cores and 64GB of ram with a 780GT graphics card, it runs so choppy that I'd consider it unusable after trying to work with more than 20 clips.

Any suggestions for a decent video editor under Linux?

Introduction
“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

Always friendly, always extremely tasty. Look for parking one street over on Central St. If you're looking for hot/spicy food, you'll have to ask for it specifically but you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, just order off the menu: It's all good food. The only thing that could make it better would be some live music on some nights.

This is one of my new favorites. If you stop in, try their custom bakery items (pineapple muffins are a superb idea) and expect your coffee to stay hot and full throughout your visit. I haven't been disappointed after a half dozen visits, and that's one of the most important things a diner can do.
