Prosthetics you can feel with, or a really truly immersive VR/AR world you can truly interact with are just around the corner 
Once we decipher the signals in the brain, we can read those thought patterns, and translate the signals into a language muscles can understand.

And this is why accelerated mobile pages are important. Facebook is becoming a destination, not a gateway, on the mobile web because they can deliver the content faster and people are already there. But if you can bring people back to your site and they engage there because it loads quickly, then you can make more of Facebook's customers your customers too.

Google has a reputation for this kind of thing. I think that's where the anxiety over the long term fate of G+ comes from as the company has slowly spun one feature of the network off after another. Good advice for never putting your eggs in one basket and going open source for your home automation/IoT needs. Because you never know what's going to happen when you aren't really in control of the devices that run your home.

I do like my podcasts. This article highlights some great apps. I've used almost all of them at one point or another. Currently, I am using Pocket Casts and I'm really pleased with it. Great looking UI and almost every feature you could ask for. Discovery could be better though. Yes, it does have Serial, if that's your thing. And TWIT, which is mine. In fact, it has almost all of the major podcast lineups listed on one screen for easy browsing.

More devices, more data, more bugs fixed faster. Very interested in seeing which OEMs and devices will be included if the Developer Preview release expands.
