As Oceans of Hope transits the Panama Canal this weekend the crew will experience first-hand one of the world’s most amazing engineering projects, one that cost lives and fortunes but changed the way of world commerce. It provides a massive mileage, time and fuel alternative to passage around Cape H…

Wow.
As the oldest and most newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis amongst the crew, it is really great to get so many new friends here on board Oceans of Hope. They have given me more answers to my disease in these eight days than I have had before. Everyone is happy and helpful, and there is a really …

G+ Suggestions and Feedback  -

A few things about albums, tagging and sharing.

Story:

We take pictures every day. We view the "everyday pics" in Highlights. It makes perfect sense to us that we dont create albums so highlights are enough for that. If we did the names would be the dates anyway.

We only add albums for named events like birthdays and such. The result is that our album view is "clean" and only contains important stuff.

The really cool thing with Highlights is that they also contains your albums. So yay +1 hightlights are our preferred "lets watch our pics" view.

Problem:

When tagging people you automatically create an album. Also the album gets shared with the persons being tagged.
I dont get that. I would prefer that nothing was shared and no albums where created.

In our case it has a undesired sideeffect. Every time we tag people - we end up with yet another unwanted datenamed album that never should have existed.

Solution:

Tagging people should not auto share nor should it create an album.
Sharing on album level is fine.
An option to allow sharing tagged poeple on image level would be awesome. Real awesome.

Comments are welcome. Pls share. And hit the +1 if you agree.

Thanks for listening.

+Google+ Help  #ios   #iosrequests

Switching between multiple profiles in Google+ (for ios) takes quite many steps. Gmail (for ios) has done it right. Please consider doing it the same way.

Also - it shouldnt ask to enable google+ autobackup every time I sign in.

In the spirit of holidays and humanity, I'd love for us as the Umbraco community to expand our friendliness to help Unicef help children in need - it's quite incredible what can be achieved if each visitor on Our Umbraco in December donated 5 Eurocents: - will provide 18.215 children with a penci

I am very excited to be writing this blog. We are finally back onboard the boat and underway. So we are starting on four days continuously at sea, and I think we are all very happy to start this leg of our trip. New York was fun, but it is time to get down to business and Charleston. It is very cold…

Can anyone tell me why my homescreens for Docs/Sheets/Slides top left has this error on my Mac using Chrome. It should have the blue colour background.

I've tried clearing all cache and disabling extensions, disable offline ...

To screenshots, one with the error on my mac chrome and one from my windows chrome.

Before I jump from Rdio I just need:

1) History
I want to see what I've played and be able to share/add to collection / playlists

2) Better social sharing
I want to share my profile to some circles, My collection/library to others and my history to yet others.

3) Playlists improved
Sharing lists, allow others to add  ...

4) Not a lot of +1 buttons :)

5) Looking as sharp and simple as possible (+1 Rdio)

Please let me know if i've missed anything?

best

History would be GREAT! MOG had that and I really liked it.

GPM absolutely needs a better search engine. It's a bit of a joke, currently.

And -- since it is SO easy to accidentally nuke the play queue with a single stray click -- it would be VERY welcome to have a 'most recent play queue recovery' option.

Google's a smart company -- why are there so many dumb lapses in their software user interfaces?
