Join Inverness Middle School students in Inverness, FL as they have a conversation Gene Klein, a Holocaust survivor, on Friday, November 13th, 2015. Mr. Klein's story is powerful and his message is one everyone should hear. Join us in this Google Hangout on Air.

“Holocaust survivors like me are dying, but you can protect our memories.  If more of us survivors speak about our experiences, then that has a lot more weight than seeing a movie or reading a book. People learn from our stories. I want to make sure this [Holocaust] doesn't happen again. It has been 70 years since I was liberated from a Nazi concentration camp. I was just a teenager then; I’m 87 now."

Gene was born in 1928 in Czechoslovakia (born Gabor Klein). In 1944, at the age of 16, he was deported with his family to Auschwitz Concentration Camp and then transferred to a slave labor camp in German-occupied Poland. He survived Auschwitz and several forced labor camps, including Wolfsberg, and a death march before being liberated by the Russians.

Gene’s complete story was told by his daughter Dr. Jill Klein in the book “We Got the Water,” which is available for purchase.

Hey everyone! I have a 5th grade class in Florida that is looking to connect with a photographer via Skype or Google Hangouts on Wednesday, May 18th. They would be interested in seeing your best insect macro photos/hear about how you captured the image and about the insects they're seeing in your photos. If you are interested in connecting with an amazing group of 5th graders in Florida, let me know.

Google Classroom  -

I have one issue in my school preventing widespread adoption of Google Classroom school-wide. Teachers want to be able to annotate a PDF document turned in by a student, then return it with those annotation still in place. Does anyone have any ideas or workarounds that make this possible?

These are great work arounds, but maybe I missed something. Why are you using .pdfs? Starting with a Google Doc shared with the teacher and the teacher being given commenting and editing rights would greatly simplify the process - no work arounds required.

My fries were soggy and the boneless wings were just OK.

We've stayed at this Resort before and have always been pleased. This time, the outlet in the bathroom did not work. The television was left unplugged and we didn't realize it until maintenance had already come up. We were missing a pillow on one of our beds. The room just looked old and dated. Definitely not the experience we are used to from a Disney Resort hotel. We stayed in room 5926.

Its nice but my room did not get housekeeping service on my first day, so I came back to an unmade bed. Disappointing.
