Just got back from seeing Pixels tonight. I'm not the biggest Sandler fan at all (my favorite movie of his is the Wedding Singer mainly because he isn't a friggin' moron in it and the film's heart is in the right place), but Pixels an amusing movie. It's not as clever as Wreck-It-Ralph (or even Grandma's Boy...another video game themed Sandler production), but my 10-year-old loved it.

I'm not sure where all that hate for this movie is coming from? It's not perfect by any means and, yeah, a good many jokes fall flat, but if you feel the need to post rambling screeds tearing it down then I think your priorities are waaaay out of whack, my friend.

I mean, it has a giant, goddamn Pac-Man eating New York with a beautifully mulleted Peter Dinklage chasing him around in a Mini-Cooper. What's not to like about that?!?
